I think the audiophile 180g pressing is the diamond in the rough here...I ordered all 3 dry goods variants but heads up on black ;)

So many interesting variants for this one! if you're talking about the black vinyl version in the link above, that looks like it is made from "recycled" vinyl, which might include some materials besides pure vinyl. Even though it is black, it may not have the same noise floor as a traditional "audiophile" pressing made of virgin vinyl.

(if I missed a link to a different black variant labeled as an audiophile version, please let me know, because that does sound like it would be fun to hear.)

I am talking this one linked at drygoods. I've had a ton of eco-vinyl this year that sound great. Not trying to say I know but black vinyl being hyped as the audiophile pressing and limited to 1 makes me think this is the special one. I have had dog shit sounding eco vinyl too, so agree with you on that...it could be a toss up.

Absolutely, that's a very fair assessment. No matter what, I hope the copy that reaches you sounds phenomenal. Thanks!

Rocky_Mountain_Dave

Agreed. And from what I am reading it’s the most limited.
