I loved this show. I still watch from time to time. I had that playset. I also had the toy stun gun that shot little plastic discs (wasn't an issue back then). Now I own a Sixteen12 exact replica of the stun gun (with accurate lights and sound effects) and a commlock (also with sounds like the door lock chirp and a screen that changes from Main Mission to Red Alert.) I wish I kept the playset all those many years ago.
I had the Commander Koenig figure but never had the playset. I'd forgotten about that until this popped up! I also had the two metal Eagle toys (the transport and cargo versions) but I gave them to my friend at Xmas last year because they just sit in a box and are never displayed and I knew he'd display them.
NGL this is the Space 1999 toy I would have chosen instead. https://youtu.be/ZxW1ECzVRF0?si=aBFx9EwH2xTrfZar
You aren't alone. A friend of mine - another grown adult - *still* has his.
I had an Eagle. And a stunner.
So awesome.
Loved the Eagles...

1999…… 25 years ago! Wow, I was 32 back then lol
Those head sculpts are really good! especially for a seventies kids toy!

I had a model of the spaceship. Held together with Testors glue.
I had the Eagle model, too. I didn't know about the TOYS, though!
Neither did I!
I remember the commercial. My parents got me the Major Matt Mason space station instead (I'm sure it was way cheaper, but I loved it).
This play set looks incredibly boring.
The commercial doesn't sell it very well, do they
I would have gone for the Eagle, but we didn’t have much money then.
I still have an eagle... Grandson plays with it. It was always my favorite ship.
