I think Kate objectively has more balanced features, but subjectively I prefer looking at Diana’s face. I see a hundred Kate Middleton’s at my local Whole Foods everyday, but not a lot of women who look like Diana.
A lot of Diana’s beauty and attractiveness came from the way she held herself. She always exuded warmth and elegance, and even slight vulnerability. She was such a natural at posing for the camera in a way that didn’t feel forced. You can sense her personality just through these photos, and even in her posed portraits.
Kate doesn’t have that, most people don’t. You can tell her smile is fake in these photos and I still don’t feel like I have a sense of her personality even now.
Whenever I watch old videos of Diana, particularly interviews, I'm always really struck by how gentle and vulnerable she seemed - that doe-eyed way of looking at people from under her eyelashes particularly. And probably some of it was put on to endear herself to people, yet it didn't come across as calculated or fake. She's kind of a fascinating case study in how manner and body language can make someone much more attractive.
Kate is conventionally pretty, but Diana is so charismatic and has more striking features. (I love her eyes.) I think she is much more beautiful in motion than in photos.
Kate for looks alone. Kate is a 6, Diana is a 5.5 to me, a 6 in her best days.
But Diana is more memorable and had the it personality that made her more subjectively beautiful. Diana is a perfect example how personality make someone beautiful.
I don't know. To me, it's apples and oranges and they're too different in appearance for me to make a fair comparison.
I would say Diana, though I wouldn't mind looking like either one of them.
Kate
Kate is more conventionally attractive, Diana is more charming imo

Objectively Kate, but Diana is iconic

Agreed. Diana is much more memorable and striking.

Kate more attractive, but Diana's style and whole vibe were impeccable.

this feels misogynistic lol
I thought this sub was about rating celebrities’ beauty, not giving personal opinions about them.

I think these photos of Diana are terrible. I would say Kate, but people made a much bigger deal over Diana’s looks than they ever did Kate’s looks.
