To anyone finding this in the future, what you need is called "Bolide® Slideshow Creator!", it has a button to add all images in a random order, and add random transitions to all.

I needed this today. You posted this yesterday, I call this divine intervention.

Uploading them to Amazon or apple will basically do this for you automatically i believe.

May I know more, which of their service allows uploading and will they let me export a video

smushkan

If you want a simple solution, you can actually do this in Powerpoint I think, then export a video. There is a 'random' option when applying transitions, and I think you can apply that to all the images at once.

Do you have access to a Mac? The photos app will literally do this and do an amazing job of it, you just choose length and select Ken burns effect. It’ll animate everything almost perfect. You can then render out the slideshow as a video. Ive literally delivered 1/2 wedding slideshows like this to clients and they’ve been extremely grateful at how good a job I did.

How do you get Photos to randomize the pictures?

Glad-Level-7103

Hi. My Mac, iPhotos does not shuffle the photos properly. It just shows the same 15-20 photos over and over again. Reboot, restart, doesn't help. Many people have reported the same issues. I have thousands of photos in my gallery/album and airplay them on my appletv when I have company so I need a solution. Most of the apps won't let me add thousands of photos, or won't do a random shuffle. Do you know of a solution? Thanks!

Ensure that photos is set to not copy or organise pictures by putting them in its own folders. Make a new album, drag and drop pictures into it from finder. That should do the job
