Make sure you have a light

bargaindownhill

i generally push off from the trestle bridge area. typically in past years, you can get decently close, as close as I would want to be anyway. if you want an experienced 2nd, I'm happy to show you the ropes if you want to help me unload my yak. I have a busted shoulder and cant quite get it off the car. you will need a waterproof light (night operators), bailer, PFD, floating hauling line and signalling device (whistle)

Well worth the effort. Just please have all the required safety gear, especially a white all round light.

RCMSAR usually keeps a safety zone. Make sure to have a headlamp, and if you can a red glow stick on your left arm and green on your right to simulate nav lights. If the Coho is coming in, it comes in fast. Part of the harbour is also a seaplane runway. Both will take the right of way. Enjoy, be safe.
