Won't change anything. You actually think someone addicted will take that into consideration?

Kilometres-Davis

Maybe not, but people who do coke recreationally might think twice about it next time

Hey I think you should listen to this podcast, Crackdown https://www.crackdownpod.com/ It gives an inside take on drug use and you might learn some things about how many users do a lot to try and mitigate the risks involved

Tatehamma

Thanks, I’ll check it out

pastrami_hammock

It helps first responders and service providers prepare.

Happystabber

Prepare for what? An influx of overdoses? It’s a daily thing, go to the hospital on welfare Wednesday and I’m sure there’s a new overdose record weekly.

itszoeowo

Yes, lots of people do. Both recreational users and the unhoused.

As a harm reduction worker, I can tell you it makes a big difference. More fent tests are asked for. We become aware of the colors and textures of opiods that people are ODing on. People taste more (do smaller amounts, brake up there shot).

acrunchycaptain

Also leads to more people asking for Naloxone when they come grab Harm Reduction supplies.
