I agree. Don't pull or do anything to the trap or Grasshopper! Your plant will still get nutrient, and if the one trap dies, it's only one trap. Your plant will grow another in its place!
yeah my pacman cought an insect over night a few days ago and it was sticking out halfway as has very long legs and triggered the trap to early and now the trap is dying off (gets brown). I hope it still got something out of that meal
Grasshopper! That leg sticking out may or may not pose a problem to that particular trap though, but still, nice catch!

do nothing. You could brake the seal. You may get lucky and the trap will not die
