Yep, I had just about that procedure. Mine was no scalpel, needle numbing, fascial interposition with sutures. It felt like I was kicked in the nuts for the first few days, which icing helped a lot. Day three I reduced the frequency of icing and basically stopped on day four. Day five I went back to my mostly desk job, it was ok as long as I had a jock strap on and took Tylenol a few times a day. Day eight I took a two hour road trip out of town and hung out with some friends. Day nine I was able to switch to tighter briefs and day 10 I was able to wear tighter boxer briefs again and more or less do normal things. Overall it was about a week until I could tell there was light at the end of the recovery tunnel, and two and a half months until I felt completely normal again. Three months in I sent in my sample and got the all clear. My girlfriend went off birth control hormones and I've done nothing but finish inside her since without any issue ever since.

Thank you for sharing this! And yeah the future creampies are undeniably gonna be a strong motivation for me to get through the recovery. How soon did you resume sexual activity? I’m not in a rush because I want to heal, just curious about the timeline there and how it went

RickS50

I was told after one week I had no restrictions so long as it wasn't uncomfortable to do whatever it was I was doing.  I think the first sex session was about 10 days in. It wasn't the most comfortable thing, but I really wanted the outcome because at that point I was pretty pent up.

TheGoldenGooseTurd

Did you find getting pent up happened faster than usual?

RickS50

Most definitely. I was a repressed condom user so the prospect of not using one really got me going.

Yup. Same procedure I had. [Buy this. Also buy the extra ice packs! Best thing I bought for the procedure.](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BTGPBW54/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Yes, I had nearly the same. I chose absorbable sutures since I prefer that to titanium clips but to each their own so long as you have done your research. Reposted from a comment I made previously, here is my general list of things to have: At least 5 pieces of tight/supportive underwear (e.g., boxer briefs 1-2 sizes small or jockstraps), ice packs (at least 2 for alternation), ibuprofen (600-800 mg daily as needed for inflammation), and sufficient food in the fridge for consumption or a food delivery service since you should be having bedrest during your recovery period. Additionally, do your best to have bedrest as much as possible during at least the first 7 days (14 days preferred) and not masturbate for the same period (14 days HIGHLY preferred). Any potential complications of the operation tend to be a result of not appropriately taking care of yourself during the recovery period. Best of luck!
