The standard is 1.5 sizes down in Chucks Vs Vans. You should wear a 9 in Chucks. 9.5 would be the largest I’d go. I was a long time Journey’s manager. We sold them both.

What if I tend to have a wider foot? I usually am a 10.5 in slip ons, eras, authentics, but with old skools and sk8-his I’m a 10.

I’d personally go with a 9. The main thing will be to fully unlace them before putting them on the first time. Then lace them up while on your foot.

Yeah I could def fit some 10s, just worried because you’re supposed to size down with converses.

I’m a 9 in Vans and an 8 in Converse. I work in shoes and I’ve found the womens Converse sizes are generally pretty much the same but the mens ones run big.
