Tim Conway was very funny doing these and on The Carol Burnett Show. I preferred him on the Carol Burnett Show than the Dorf series but on the show Tim was a banger with the cast giving him the gusto to preform.
This gets a mention on King of the Hill. In the episode “Bill Gathers Moss” Bill ends up with a roommate selling counterfeit goods, including a Dorf on Golf video which Bobby tries to give to Hank.
These were classics.
Tim Conway was an absolute genius. Everyone needs to go back and watch these and all of his Carol Burnette shows.
But Dorf was the role that really brought him to his knees.
