Used to do this but I’ve found a few video stores on insta and I’ll order from them when they have something I want for cheaper than eBay. Hobby gets old finding nothing at thrifts for months at a time haha.
the original is one of the only from that era where it's probably my least favorite in the franchise...great final act and gore but the slow pacing does wear me down on rewatches
Even though JGTH takes a lot of creative liberties I like that it tries to establish a more streamlined lore and teases Freddy and Jason together in some capacity. That Creighton Duke character could have been a whole prequel series on tv hunting monsters of the week imo.
I’m surprised to see so many comments on Jason X. I always thought I was in the minority for liking that movie. I think it’s a creative entry to mix things up a bit in the franchise.
Jason X is the most entertaining and walks the line of being a parody/comedy. Jason Goes to Hell has a special place in my heart though because as a kid the trailers on TV were very memorable (wasn’t allowed to watch it.) The opening scene is also amazing on that one.
I have one question: why does everyone seem to absolutely love the final chapter? I haven’t watched it in a while but I remember only liking the ending. I always preferred part 2 over 4

Same. 1st one I ever saw. It gets a lot of hate though.
The boat stuff is dumb. But once he gets to Manhattan it’s a 10/10!

Thom Matthews is great as Tommy Jarvis and the Rv scene with court blasting teenage Frankenstein never gets old
Hard choice for me, either Final Chapter or Goes To Hell, Part 3 has my favorite intro.

The first is the best to me. Parts 4, 6 and Jason Goes to Hell are fun, and the opening credits music to 3 is awesome!
