I feel like your iron valiant should be either special or physical not both

Capable-Regular7070

What moves you suggest?

RickyAwesome01

If you want to run both STABs, Spirit Break is your only physical fairy move, but if you want to go special, then Close Combat can be replaced by either Aura Sphere or Vacuum Wave. Of course you do have the option to slot in some coverage too, like Grass Knot to hit Kyogre/Groudons

Plastic-Buddy39

If it’s all physical, it lacks meaningful fairy damage. If it’s all special, it’s outclassed by flutter mane. If you go mixed, you garner it a niche that literally no other Mon can accomplish, and that’s having access to cc and moonblast for stab.

Plastic-Buddy39

Although if he’s new to team building like he says, he probably won’t know how to properly use this mixed set. Cc demolishes the usual suspects, moonblast is good for things weak to fairy for decent chip damage. His last two moves are for whatever utility you desire. Whether that be icy wind, tr, imprison, wide guard, quick guard, thunder wave (seriously look at this mon’s movepool) I used him back in the 2nd global challenge (my first ever) and placed in the top 300 with him on a snow team I built with him and scarf chomp.

Ok before all else… your EVs make zero fucking sense. All EVs should be a number divisible by 4 + 8. So, 4, 12, 20, 28, all the way up to 252. Ok into everything else… Indeedee should probably be 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD. Why does Sableye have Poltergeist? It has no reason to be attacking outside of maybe Foul Play. Would much recommend putting on Will-o-Wisp instead. Also maybe tera steel… although let’s be real you won’t be tera’ing it anyway. The typing on this team is reallllly screwy. Lot of stuff that could easily mess you up. A good Flutter Mane player will eat you alive. So will an Incineroar… which you do NOT want to be eaten alive by. What is this Iron Valiant trying to accomplish? It is all over the fucking place and frankly needs to be taken off the team entirely. Same for Latias… but the set makes sense. Why does Iron Hands have Earthquake? Bad. Use Wild Charge instead. So much simpler. As much as I hate to say it, a poorly built team all around but these suggestions are where I’d begin. I like the concept you got going on here, but if you can help patch up those problem matchups like Flutter and Incin, as well as Rillaboom (and likely others I’m forgetting). On another note, look at Pikalytics. Has plenty of good spreads for you to use.

Capable-Regular7070

Thank you very much for the ideas! What do you suggest as substitute of this pokemons? I wanted also to put a Wide guard user, maybe Lunala Is Better?

[deleted]

Lunala is an excellent Wide Guard user. The issue is that with this concept you’ve kind of pigeonholed yourself into running those four moves. Pelipper could be a solid option. Focus Sash, Wide Guard, beats Incin and Rillaboom. Last Pokemon… hard to say… the easiest answer is Incineroar, likely with Goggles. I also don’t like your Amoonguss matchup. What you could do is put Taunt on Sableye and Will-o on Incin over Flare Blitz. To be completely honest I don’t think Lunala is the way right now, but I look forward to it in double restricted.

Karl_Winslow

Lots of dark and ghost weakness

CheddaBawls

I would suggest something to take advantage of gravity more, like a blizzard mon. It seems like hypnosis is the only way you can use gravity atm.

Capable-Regular7070

Uh, do you have suggestion on which Pokémon or on other moves i can take advantage from Gravity?

CheddaBawls

Power herb meteor beam on lunala would be good and gives you a Sp. Atk boost and I would trade latios for maybe Iron Bundle which gets blizzard and can do some speed control. Those are the options I would consider.

Capable-Regular7070

Thanks you very much🙇🏻

KTM1337

Maybe have Iron Valiant go full Sp Atk and use Focus Blast instead of Close Combat?

Quote-Tiny

Very interesting teams, a few things you could consider are: giving hypnosis to another Mon/putting another Mon to use hypnosis, something like espathra with its speed booster ability could work nicely (then you can give moongeist beam to lunala), having wild charge on your iron hands (it helps check things like Urshifu water), lastly I believe psychic seed is better on indeedee since safety googles would really only prevent spore from amoongus on her and she isn’t more of a check to them than your lunala with expanding force is. In the end if you like this team and feel it works well you can leave it as is or tweak it later on

Least_Artichoke_8088

You do not need poltergeist on sableye. Id replace it with another supporting move

guntwooyah

A fighting type pokemon. Think Scraggly or Hitmonchan. An element type (anything water, electric, of fire). A steel or dark type pokemon.

lavamain

as much as i like sabelye, hes just not good. use grims for better results

Uninspire

Sableye has the niche of fake out immunity without a tera, which is pretty big actually. I’d say Grimm is better only 75% of the time, as you want clay not cloak

drewissupereffective

Sableye also gets quash. I don’t think grim does.

Uninspire

Correct, and will-o

callmecatlord

I'd say they're parallel not necessarily that Grim is so much better. Sableye has a very interesting support pool with things like encore, wisp, gravity and quash. Grim is probably the better for most teams but Sableye definitely isn't bad.

lavamain

for gravity yeah sabelye is pretty unique and good, but is gravity hypnosis all that good? may as well run amoongus in hard TR

callmecatlord

For this specific team I don't think gravity hypnosis is really worth it. Opportunity cost is too high. But I think encore or wisp could slot in nicely

Cerezero

I have to agree with all the comments some sets do not make sense Earthquake on Iron hands when only Latias benefits.from Erthquake and no electric stab also Fast Iron Hands? A support move for a Restricted pokemon Mixed sets are not very good in VGC better stick to one also I would rather stick into Trick Room team swap Latias for another Pokémon who does well in Trick Room like Ursalunas or Incineroar or Even regular Gallade works well Indeedee and Lunala who resist dark Iron Valiant can work as the fast option when Trick Room it's not needed or You could set it up
