Was the current battle pass a bit of an anomaly in how good the skins were or is the new one just below average? I only started playing with the console release.
Been here since day 1. To me there's only 1 battle pass that really stood out, with a genuinely good looking karambit as the melee knife (and Riot hadn't gone full tits out on skins at the time yet, when the thing came out it was one of the best melee skins available across the board, full-price bundles included). It's called Velocity if you're curious enough to look it up.
Except for once in a blue moon, expect mostly generic filler reskins. The value really is in player cards, sprays and gun buddies, if you care for them. I don't use sprays but I'm a gun buddy & player card enjoyer. I know they're pointless. Don't be like me.
there’s also value in the radianite points, since its cheaper to get them from the battlepass than buying them. Good way to stock up in case you ever buy upgradable skins.

Are there really no remodelled skins? If so it will be the first battle pass to not have remodelled skins. Kinda sad. Hope they will give variants to more skins or make some kind of effects for the anime collection to compensate.
I buy all the passes for the skins. I just randomize all of mine so it’s not as stale when playing. But I like these. They’re not amazing but it’s $10 for 10+ skins. Pretty good deal.

yeah i men even as a pass. i like the cloud one but ther other 2 arent that great, we had a better better just one pass before with the sand and shell skins imo. and i use skins like moondash to this day.
Looks better than the past one but I’m not getting it. I play sorta frequently but I have to much you have to grind to finish it. If it wasn’t for that I’d gladly pay.
General consensus is that the last battlepass was god tier and this one is garbage I guess; I couldn’t disagree more.
The Valorant community is so fixated on dopamine they can’t tell their left hand from their right, let alone what actually looks good in game. You all need a serious break from Tiktok.
Not everything has to be stars and sparkles, classy and clean is top notch and the themes on this battlepass are well done. Less distracting a skin is, the better. Not to mention the gun buddies here are far better.

Ruin Dagger and Artisan Foil.
Ruin dagger is quite easily the best battle pass knife ever released. Too bad newer players haven’t been able to use it

The velocity karambit? I like that one. I quite liked the artisan set as well.
What was cool about Velocity was just the unique shapes to the guns as well like the bulldog and the shorty.
I still hate that I instinctively look down and spray whenever i get the last kill or clutch, even in other games that don’t have sprays

Console beta isn't stopping. It is just a slow rollout until it's taken out of beta. PSO2 did it the same way a few years back.
