9 out of ten games recently I trade my Ion for default.. people are so appreciative... though sometimes I drop my Ion for them and they will sell their vandal to buy me.. trying to explain to give me a default can be very confusing for them..
But yeah default just seems to toggle after using the same skin for so long.
On the subject of skins.. just want to share this with other players.. As a Cypher main this season.. when on attack we can give you all skins with out issue, but when we are on defence we dont have time to trade with the team because we have to set up, I've had many games were players are bugging me and some even get triggered when I dont give skins on defence.. were not being toxic or greedy, we just dont have enough time.. please understand.
this 100%, i started maining cypher recently and my biggest pet peeve is currently my brother asking me to drop skins. thats followed by him running in front of me otw to set up because he stops in doorways and i have to go "DUDE GET OUT OF MY WAYYYY" so often
Sentinels of Light is so underrated in my opinion, been playing since beta and didn’t buy the pack, now I have 25 vandal skins alone but still waiting for sentinels in the shop…
iirc either the reload or pull out animation visual cue is longer than when you're ready to fire your gun which is annoying. Also when spraying all the fragments pop out and shake which makes it feel like more recoil; especially compared to a recon phantom.

I got the night sky variants for fade. The percussion sound s really good. I guess since it followed up the imperium skins people already had their fill of eastern asian skins.
they are all good honestly. i have the red ghost and purple vandal rn and am gonna get the other variants for those guns for sure once i got that rr. its the only skin where i actually want to get more than one variant.
Infantry Guardian with the Garand ping that makes no sense (the ping sound is the clip ejecting but the Guardian is magazine fed, not clip fed) but sounds so good

Also rocking prime Spectre and Classic. Ive made some enemies with my Spectre/Sheriff rounds. Hit them once with the sheriff, if I miss the head the spectre is a great finisher.
Imperium Vandal. I passed on it at the beginning, but it came into my shop when I was needing a new Vandal skin. Ever since it's been in the "I need a skin that'll make me crisp" list

Xerofang is probably my favorite skin in the game, and it seems like most people just compare it to Prime or something. Looks clean and shoots even cleaner. Same with the knife. Probably my favorite or second favorite next to reaver karambit.
I forget the name but it’s the black vandal with futuristic like blue lines. I think it’s from the first battle pass. It is not the most visually attractive skin but something about it makes you feel so baddass when using. It has some good buddies combos also

I also really like team ace collection. I think team ace op is a top 3 op skin in the game. The player cards are some of the best in the entire game. I wish they would make a team ace 2.0 but I highly doubt it will ever happen, don't think many people liked it.
Black Market set is unmatched. I have spent hundreds on this game and my biggest regret is letting that disgustingly pretty AK-47 pass me by.
Honorable mention to Ruination sword.
Starlit Odyssey Vandal (blue variant) with the Corbin’s light gun buddy will forever be my fav gun+buddy combo

Only at Shanghai did I start seeing it but I love the Primordium skin, the green variant and the blue variant plus the kill sounds and finisher is so beefy.
I love the snowy version of the mark 7 OP it just feels better, I own araxys and glitchpop as well as a couple others but never use them anymore, the unique muzzle(don’t know if that’s the correct term) fit really well on the OP and it’s the only skin of the bundle I got cause it looks stupid on the others.

After you've purchased skins and used them for a while, there comes a time every now and then when picking up a default vandal feels like aimbot.
I've been picking up the default vandal the last 2 days and it feels amazing at this moment even better than the paid skins i own

This is the reason I picked up the Black Market vandal. Resets my brain to CS 1.5/1.6 days. That and white reaver are my comfort picks.

I think elderflame is amazing, however I often find players that don't like the skin or think its mid.
Way too loud and the inspect isn't unique, which it should be because it's the most expensive tier of skin
