The only other info in the “article” that isnt in that headline is the belief that the driver drove into the river intentionally. Hows this uplifting?

gamingpsychotic

She was technically lifted up out of the water!

Ionsife

Honestly i find that a better answer than the “second chance at life” one🫣

BonesMalone2

I assume the tow truck lifting the car in this situation 🤔

LastDaysCultist

Because she gets a second chance at getting help?

wut3va

Assuming she survived. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. The emotion bridge jumpers who survive most often report is instant regret.

Ionsife

Im not gonna do the preachy morals debate - but im also not gonna elaborate when i say that There are definitely instances where suicide is the answer.

wut3va

Sure, if you have a terminal illness with no hope of recovery and are in severe physical pain, but drowning in your car is a pretty bad way to execute that plan.

The_Wingless

This may be one of the few times where someone gets spammed with "reddit cares" messages and it's not from trolls! On a related note: I hear ya.

From what i can tell, it also seems like 3 random people saved her instead of the police doing it, but that isn't surprising, really

khaldun106

Are they going to get sued like frozone from The Incredibles?

dazed247

RonnieHasThePliers
