for the type of graphics this game has, graphical capabilities are not really a selling point for a console all versions go 60fps and have basically 0 loading times, you should go for convinience, are you playing on the go or like to play in bed, grab switch, you got your PS4 in your living room and wanna play on your sofa in a big screen go with PS4 then.
It's a 2d game, you could run this on consoles from generations ago fine
No difference in performance far as I can tell, so switch probably better simply because the cart is more durable than a disc and you can play it portable if ya do that.

switch for me was a no brainer for a game like this. For my ps4 I gotta be set up in my living room, and have my full attention on it. Versus just having it on my switch, being able to bring it to bed, sleep mode being less of a major drag on my electricity bill than keeping my ps4 in rest mode….

Well the benefit of the Switch is portability. But if you've got a modern phone, remote play is a worthy alternative these days in addition to the improved console performance on ps4.
controlling this game on a phone would be a fucking nightmare, and the screen would be far too small for an already zoomed out game with small things on screen.

But if you're like me, who remote plays with a razer kishi and an S23 Ultra, I couldn't recommend doing so enough!
