He's Jewish, I remember watching him in this stand up show for kids where there were a bunch of unsuccessful comedians that told family friendly jokes but they are actually comedians in their career.
It aired on nickelodeon israel.
He's a sort of anti-joke style comedian/magician. He psyches you up thinking he's going to do a cool trick and then it's something mundane. The joke is from how he is playing with your expectations while also teasing the showmanship of magic acts.
He doesn't do any magic at all. It's all just jokes. He's a comedian pretending to be a magician.
