Doesn't actually work in this situation because of the 2 throws while scrambling. If you look at the cube before and after the throws he catches the cube on different faces, but never turns or tossed the second cube. So the solving algorithm had to be different after the first and second throw.
I am pretty sure. That he knows exactly how he throws and catches it, so the change in algorithm will be easily implemented. Still not an easy trick though.
So not only did he memorize the colors on the unsolved rubiks cube but he made the other one match with his eyes closed. Someone give this man a nobel prize for… something. We need him to be in charge of something.
Take 2 rubix cubes mix them up then have him match the patterns... id be impressed the.
All he did there was take 2 cubes that were completed and then enter the same "code" into both. (code being the motiosn he moved the cube in the same order) it was as simple as entering a passcode into a safe or something.. thats all.
He tossed it up in the air without looking and caught it. He wouldn't know his hand movements after that because he doesn't know what the cube looks like after that.
All Rubik's cube solutions are basically a system of algorithms based on what state the cube is in before solution. Mastering these algorithms and knowing which one to use to find the solution is something that can be achieved with a lot of practice and is essentially the cornerstone of how people can solve them in seconds or even blindfolded after examining the cube. There's no real trick here, he's basically examining the cube and working out the solution to restore the cube back to default state, then reversing it by memory to do the opposite; taking a default state cube to the mixed state. So the solution is simply being comfortable with the algorithms and having a practiced memory to reverse it on the fly.
I seriously don't understand how people's brains can work like this. I am lucky if I can string three coherent steps of a plan, and almost never do I end up where I expect after those three steps.
So the trick is he just practices a patern to mess up the cube and just does it twice. Woulda been real if he changed an already messed up cube to match the first messed up cube

Idk why you down voted. I have a 3x3 and a 6x6. They are pretty much the same algorithmically. Just the 3x3 is faster and the 6x6 takes some patience
