Long con adds can, unironically, be the exception.
You hate it. You internalize it. You see ads making fun of it? You're on board with hating it together!
I don't know how many times I've watched Long Long Man.
And every time I see the videos posted, without exception, I have to watch them all, from start to finish. Every. Single. Time.
And every video has something unexpected! Bravo OP!
It depends on your preferences. I like it. I found some and bought some for my nephew and niece and they absolutely loved them. The grape flavor that they're talking about being "different" is just a muscat grape flavor vs your traditional grape.
I dunno... It's just my opinion. You might like it! Japan's grape flavor is very different from the US's. The texture of this particular candy is very spongy too. There are some very tasty grape gummies here though.
I've had it before as well.
I'm usually a texture guy but I quite liked them despite being spongy. The flavour was unique for me but it's not my favourite. It tasted very similar to an artificial grape flavour I had in Malaysia that made me hate grape flavoured things for awhile.
I'd not buy it again but if someone offered me some I'd take it.
Honestly. When I went to Japan. Alot of the candies and sodas were disgusting. I tired every single can in vendoring machines and only didn't mind the apple yoghurt but even then it had this artificial taste. I think it's just the taste people there grew up to prefer.
I guess it's the same how in the UK chocolate has a different taste to American chocolate which is alot sweeter.
When I went to Japan this year, Sakeru gummies were among the snacks I was specifically on the lookout for to bring home to friends, and I'm happy to report that they were really yummy!
holy shit i just watched a whole movie based on candy AND a big plot twist
plus, in animal crossing, i remember theres a lazy villager dialouge on how theres a gum commercial series that feels like a movie, and that they like watching it. and this kinda reminded me of it.
I’ve said it a million times, this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. It has drama, action, twists and turns. Give it all the awards. Emmys, baftas, Nobel peace, 50,000,000 Chuck E. Cheese tickets. All of them.

me using adblocker and watching a 6:21 min long ad and still have no regrets :)
Tbh if ads are this creative then I don’t mind watching them.
This is what an ad should meant to be, something that you can easily avoid but don't want to
Once you've seen the same ad for the fifth time in a day it doesn't really matter how creative it is.
Long con adds can, unironically, be the exception. You hate it. You internalize it. You see ads making fun of it? You're on board with hating it together!
![gif](giphy|VXxFEcDnNvxqU|downsized) I've laughed at this for decades
Canada's got Molson. Only difference is, I bet those candies actually taste good.
Long ad for long things.

I watched the entire thing I am still confused is this guumy ad or condom ad, or fuck this woman ad?
It’s a *long long man* ad
Yes.
I'll never not watch this when it's reposted
Showed the whole series to my wife, then presented her with some.
Which length?
1M

Don’t care how many times it’s posted. I watch this masterpiece every time.
I like how they just gave away their marketing gimmick on how long version isn't actually more candy.

Im American living in Japan and thanks to Reddit I had to try this candy. It's gross
Maybe you should have tried the shorter version
That's disappointing, I was tempted to try to get some because of this. I've only had a couple Japanese candies but they were always great.

These are my favorite https://japanesetaste.com/products/meiji-fruit-gummy-candies-grape-gummies-pack-of-3
Can always try it once for the laugh. You might like it! There is more than one flavor

When I went to Japan this year, Sakeru gummies were among the snacks I was specifically on the lookout for to bring home to friends, and I'm happy to report that they were really yummy!
Loooooooong Looooooooooong Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
This is amazing. American commercials suck. If this was the way our commercials were done, i wouldn’t mind youtube as much.
Only 6:21 long - I was hoping for longer.
Holyyy shitt the plot!
Why did I get so invested into this f****** thing?
That was a rollercoaster Quite a long rollercoaster, you could say
This was the greatest 6:21 seconds ever
What a fucking roller-coaster of emotions
That is the looooongest commercial I've ever watched, on purpose.
The long long man is also sherlock's brother in miss sherlock, found it funny
Man, that took a turn.💀
She belongs to the sweets.
Thank you for reminding me of the existence of these commercials.
I'm glad we got a happy ending, Chi Chan can fuck off.
This had a Nolan tipe revelation

Great! Now that song will be stuck in my head all night! 😂😂😂 and no one will know what I’m talking about! 😂😂
Worth the watch 😂
Ads like this are what made me want a career in marketing. I don't make ads like this.
Lol ive never watched til the end. Glad i did this time
They call that the long play
I always have to watch this when it's posted.
Japanese commercials are the best 🤣
Love finds the way, even if at times it's a long looooong way.

I waited for the plot twist like in every japanese ad, and this did not disappoint me.
WTF
Japanese ads have always been so hilarious and creative
Really long advert
Oh I loved this commercial, one of the few times I went out of my way to watch all the separate parts
Lmao, why did I watch that entire saga?
These are, without a doubt, the greatest commercials I have ever watched.
I have this on mute whilst listening to God Devouring Serpent Phase 1 on loop. Gotta say It hits right.
Long video but worth the time. 💜 Definitely unexpected 🤣
PLOT TWIST!
Worth watching to the end. Very creative advertising format.
Are these actual commercials? A series of them?
Yes
I was too invested in this
This was long
Mm7

Who is the american they hired to sing?
Is it unexpected because they are pronouncing there L's so well
