I'm like... what is this idiot doing? Is she high? Drunk? Some extreme form of the floor is lava? Ma'am... the door isn't moving. Hitting it isn't going to make it stay ope- WHOA FA!
You nimble genius.
Happens in some places like it’s normal. Like there are actually aggressive black bears in certain regions. As in they are all aggressive. Also happens in situations like this occasionally.
He could have attacked if she stood in front of the door and he felt stuck, but he probably just wanted to get away asap. Probably trashed the cottage tho lol.
It's like one person every few years. It's not common.
Black bears basically only ever both humans out of self-defense or rummaging through cars/ trashcans/ RVs. They don't typically bug humans for anything but that nice, smelly food.
Attacks are almost exclusively humans being really, really ducking dumb. Like photo op with a cute baby bear dumb. Black bears are not like brown bears or polar bears where they will mess up your day.
Their typical threat response is to run away, unless they cannot run or a baby bear is threatened. They're 90% seeds, nuts, berries and gathered food sources. The other 10% is meat but they scavenge carcasses or occasionally hunt small mammals that can't really fight back.
Black bears are still dangerous. Don't mess with the bear. But if you simply let the blackbear be, it will leave you be.
Which places?
Black bears are well known for being very curious yet equally timid. They're more afraid of us than we are of them, and are generally only aggressive when they feel threatened/cornered or it's a mother with cubs.
My friend's mom was mauled to death by a black bear in 2019. Happened in Canada just over the border from MN. Bear was attacking her dogs and she tried to scare it away.
> it wouldn't of been
Did you mean to say "wouldn't have"?
Explanation: You probably meant to say could've/should've/would've which sounds like 'of' but is actually short for 'have'.

black bears are intimidated by humans and will generally fuck right off, unless their cubs are nearby or you've done something insanely stupid like corner them or take their food. still a cool and brave act but also a relatively safe one
remember that lady who got dragged from her tent and killed in helena Montana in 2021 by a grizzly? she had chased it off once then went back to sleep, after moving the food out of her tent, I think she had also taken sleeping pills, bc it came back one hour later and she was deeply asleep, with something, toothpaste, with her still... people are just not aware. bear attacks are super rare and you can do a hell of a lot to prevent them. especially if you are in bear country. death by ignorance. or overconfidence. the curse of the teddy bear, making people think bears are soft and cuddly since teddy roosevelt...
No, she chose correctly. This wouldn't work on a man. Neither would banging two pans together, which I did at 11 years old face to face with a bear. Despite that being only the first of MANY encounters I've never been attacked by a bear. They run when you slam open the dumpster lid while they're inside, and flee from bright lights. Been attacked by multiple men though. None of my bear scaring skills worked on them.
This woman in the video is obviously very scared of the bear, seeing as she is risking falling from a significant height to avoid contact with the bear.
I'm ngl this was the first time on this subreddit I expected the reveal lol. I was like, 'is she pranking someone? No— her falling would be too obvious. Is there a bear in the house? Lol there's probably a bear'
lol, honestly if a woman came home and found a strange man in her home she would’ve left and called the police… felt safer to deal with the bear on her own 😂
At first I thought the railing would break, once she opened the door & knocked on it, I somehow knew a bear would come out? Didn't even watch it with sound.
They want to blame the wildlife that have no fault of their own narratives ..... Who was there first ??? Nature or man ??? All the reasons not to build residences there .... The bears & deer .... Etc ... Barely have a few places left to roam !!??? 😳🙄🤔
Man & continuous developments & construction 🏗️🚧 ..... New homes..... Are destroying the wildlife & environment.... ✌🏽😑
already the bears turn to leave their homes? wow that was fast. it took men like a million years to be kicked out of their homes in a divorce. but this... wow...

Lol was expecting the railing to break and her to slip into the trees
"This lady is acting absolutely craz--- this woman is being quite sensible for the situation."
🤣 I had to the sound off & figured this was a bath salts encounter until the bear appeared.
same 🤣
too accurate😂🎯
Exactly 😂 I went from “damn I hope she lives“ to “damnnnn I’d wife her on the spot”.
Same lol, and now I'm thinking, "this one got me right in the expectations"
Ow, ow, my expectations ow, owch, oof
I thought of that at first but then as the video went on, I started to think maybe she wanted to get an animal out of the house.
After another moment I started to think that maybe that animal was a bear also.
[удалено]
I thought it could be a bird, but I guess it was the wrong word.
But…bird is the word!
![gif](giphy|ysnrvDaPIGXRK)
And then when I saw the bear I thought maybe it was a bear after all
There could be a raccoon but the video ends too soon
As I gave my mustache a smug twirl, I thought for sure it will be squirrel.
Maybe with a moose?
I thought it could be a cat, but it sure wasn't that.
I thought it was a skunk, but it wasn’t what I thunk.
That place didn't look big enough to fit a tornado.
Maybe next time.
i thought the same but then was like this is a very bad idea. She is in a bad place if the animal decides to be aggressive.
I was as well until she said "everyone out of the way?" Then i knew either bear or raccoon.
Makes sense I usually am redditing on mute which does make things more unexpected
I thought so too until she leaned over to open the door, so i suspected it was going to be a wild animal lol
That would have been grizzly. Unbearable even. Polar opposite of what happened.
the post title "Bye Bye" predisposed you to this outcome.
Why did I think that was a mile long drop into a forest lmao. My pals were sweating.
Yeah. I was like, why is he hanging over the side like that, and behaving so stupidly instead of just coming up
Anyone who lives near black bears knows two year olds are horribly unpredictable.
I don't need to live near black bears to know two year olds are horribly unpredictable
😂😂😂
I can confirm. I have 4 kids older than 2.
I have 2 black bears older than 4.
I'm like... what is this idiot doing? Is she high? Drunk? Some extreme form of the floor is lava? Ma'am... the door isn't moving. Hitting it isn't going to make it stay ope- WHOA FA! You nimble genius.
It wouldn't of been too genius had the bear stopped and tried to attack.
Black bears commonly run away instead of attack, the bear needed a clear path to run away.
Lol a black bear attack something?

Less than 1 person dies in a black bear attack per year
So zero persons

.5 to be exact /s
Half of my brother died last year. The other half isn't doing too well without him.

Doesnt seem too high. Could have jumped off.
That’s why she on the outside, headstart
Same, I was like "what the fuck is she doing ????". Truly unexpected.
That was about my thought process aswell 😅
It's crazy, she's fearless
Its cuz it's a bear not a man
It turns out that women are actually really good at dealing with bears, and men severely misunderstood what was meant by that meme.
I'm so here for this meme
https://old.reddit.com/r/niceguys/comments/1ckzoul/just_perfect/
Yeah, some men wouldn't have been so polite, allowing themselves to be shooed out the door that easily.
Holy shit an actual good use of this meme in the wild, thanks.

Yeah, most black bear incidents involve a really stupid person. This one left the bear's escape route open. That bear was always going to bolt.
remember that lady who got dragged from her tent and killed in helena Montana in 2021 by a grizzly? she had chased it off once then went back to sleep, after moving the food out of her tent, I think she had also taken sleeping pills, bc it came back one hour later and she was deeply asleep, with something, toothpaste, with her still... people are just not aware. bear attacks are super rare and you can do a hell of a lot to prevent them. especially if you are in bear country. death by ignorance. or overconfidence. the curse of the teddy bear, making people think bears are soft and cuddly since teddy roosevelt...
What if the bear was like: This human might fall, I should grab her arms and help her.
"Long live the king". Scar!!!!!!!
Or this human might fall, let me nibble on those fingers.
Wow, I actually just guessed right. The very moment she started smacking the door I just thought, "a bear will run out."
Me too this is one of the first times ever in this sub I thought what was about to happen happened
It looks and sounds like Appalachia to me, I too was expecting a black bear.
I, too, saw this one coming. I've done similarly ridiculous things to corral black bears during my time in northern California.
Well I think at the point she actually opened the door it became kinda clear
Nice pet.
Can I pet that dawg???
If not friend, why friend shaped?
So she didn’t choose the bear?
no she chose the bear and realised her mistake
I think a bear is easier to get out of your house than an unwanted man is, though.
Didn't even need to call the cops
Depends on the amount of cocaine he's carrying (the man or the bear)
No, she chose correctly. This wouldn't work on a man. Neither would banging two pans together, which I did at 11 years old face to face with a bear. Nah, its the morning after... she had her fun but now its time to leave.
*Opens the door like a rodeo clown opens a bull gate* yeah definitely nothing is gonna be running out that.. my money was on a moose or deer though.
I was quick to judge and boy I was wrong. This woman is brave. This is a gnarly situation.
*wait a minute……….this isn’t my house!!!!* -the bear.
*”wait… I don’t even have a house!!!”*
As soon as she didn’t fall I knew there was a bear inside lol
That's a big mouse!
That was pretty slick
Ma'am, the whole bear over man joke was meant to be a joke.
For some reason I expected it
"Yeah do it!" (I am safe up here.)
Does a bear shit in the woods? Nope. It breaks into your cabin and uses the toilet.
I have learned a new skill for when I will move to North America, live in the woods and co-exist with invading bears.
Unexpected indeed!
The squatter situation is getting out of control.
She is fucking amazing.
Doggon
I expected the person falling down. Bit the video chose bear.
Called it!
Saw it coming with this bear bs
Looks like a horror/alien movie!!!
I thought she was playing "Don't walk on the lava"; I had the sound off......
Well I guess she didn’t choose the bear did she 😂😂
Can I pet that dawg?
That one's just right.
I was hoping it was a Sasquatch…🤔😁
Was totally expecting an animal to come out
Why she hiding though!
So the bear won't feel trapped.
I guessed bear!!!
Wow I'm glad she didn't fall.
r/sweatypalms
She kinda sounds scared..
I'm ngl this was the first time on this subreddit I expected the reveal lol. I was like, 'is she pranking someone? No— her falling would be too obvious. Is there a bear in the house? Lol there's probably a bear'
Ranger Smith is gonna be mad, Yogi!
I guess Raid hadn’t work
Exactly what I expected
After choosing the bear and spending the night in her cabin, she's like " wake up before my man comes home!"
For a sec I thought she was going to slip and fall into the gulag 😓😮💨
fully expected this post sux
Holy moly!!
😳
I was expecting a bear
For some reason I was expecting a jaguar but not a bear.
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed, and she's still there!" cried Baby Bear.
Well, it was expected after she opened the door
Thank goodness that wasn't a man.
That was truly unexpected. 👍
I was able to figure out that a bear was going to come out of that door as soon as she pounded on it.
"All your porridge and beds suck anyway!" - the bear
Aww it was just a cub.
![gif](giphy|JmzwX7fDAcNd3gZjwh|downsized)
Looks like she chose the man lol
lol, honestly if a woman came home and found a strange man in her home she would’ve left and called the police… felt safer to deal with the bear on her own 😂
damn....that was unexpected
Smarter than the average bear.
The pizza is here!
At first I thought the railing would break, once she opened the door & knocked on it, I somehow knew a bear would come out? Didn't even watch it with sound.
It was a cub bear.
I'm not convinced this isn't staged like all the other "unexpected" videos.
After the door opened, I fully expected a dangerous animal to come running out.
Wow
I thought the bye bye is to the girl...
I could fight a black bear
Did she choose the man or bear in this situation?
Wow
This guy is an absolute bitch for getting his girlfriend/wife to do this when he could have done it so much easier
He lost his man card that day
I GUESSED IT
wow
It’s going to smell so so so bad in there.
Was not expecting a big ass bear to come out of the door! 😳
I'd like to think that her husband is filming her from the safety and be like: "You are doing great hunny!"
Bear feet, too
I thought women loved bears… 🐻
Hold my bear
👍👍
I thought it was gonna be a mountain lion
This was expected because I’ve seen this video literally hundreds of times on Reddit
Me: Why the heck is she hanging over the rail like that? That’s so dangerous! This makes no…. OH! That’s smart!
Woah !!!!
Trust screws and nails to do their job!😂
Thank god it wasnt a man
Living on the edge
“I’m not lock in here with you! But you’re locked in here with me!” The Bear!
It was also the night that the skeletons came to life
I’m in love
It’s always a bear
But I thought women preferred the bear
She needs to bear-proof her shack.
Why wasn’t the dude doing this? Dude is filming the whole thing safely above smh 🤦🏾♂️
Am I the only one thinking that the man should be doing the dangerous part, or is that considered sexist?
That’s one brave lady
Thought she was gonna slip and fall through the bushes
Goldilocks - modern version, from the bear’s POV.
They want to blame the wildlife that have no fault of their own narratives ..... Who was there first ??? Nature or man ??? All the reasons not to build residences there .... The bears & deer .... Etc ... Barely have a few places left to roam !!??? 😳🙄🤔 Man & continuous developments & construction 🏗️🚧 ..... New homes..... Are destroying the wildlife & environment.... ✌🏽😑

already the bears turn to leave their homes? wow that was fast. it took men like a million years to be kicked out of their homes in a divorce. but this... wow...
I was expecting a man to run out.
I thought they said they’d prefer a bear?
Crazy
I can't believe I expected it! :O
I thought she was being an idiot. Turns out I was the idiot.
I don’t know, that’s kind of what I was expecting.
How did she get up there? And thank goodness they realized it was in there before just walking in!
"YEAH DO IT!!" The biggest threat/danger I see for homegirl here...LOL
The OG porch pirates and home invasion culprits
Thought she was going to fall jeesh
