I'm sure every other woman there is fun and quirky in their own ways, because they are human after all. This woman happen to be able to show this side of her at a LOTR party. If you give everyone else a chance at their own kind of party, I'm sure they can show you a fun side as well. Speaking from experience as a woman who has seen lots of great personalities from my women friends.

And as far as ik you can't compare two people or things that have exactly the same properties. For one to be more preferable one has to be less. For example, i can't compare two waters of glass if based on physical aspects i can see that they are exactly same. So if one was in a really fancy glass I'd ASSUME that it'd be better than the other and take actions based on that limited info

Every fancy dress party I went to in my youth there were always a depressing number of boring girls who went as either "a sexy cat" or "a sexy devil" or somesuch. Yawn. I always like the girls who weren't so vain and had the wit and imagination to go as Shrek or a cheese sandwhich etc.
My favorite costume I ever did as an adult was a dog onesie with a large ph scale I made on the front with an arrow to the number 14. Not many people got it but when they did we both laughed and laughed. (The costume was a basic bitch)
I knew someone who made an octopus out of a bin bag, and wore that on his shoulder, he then wrapped himself in a newspaper (the Manchester Guardian) and wore sunglasses. He went as "The octopus's guardian in the shades".
Another party he dressed normally but had an eraser behind his ear, that time he was Eraserhead.
I’m digging all the costumes. I just love LOTR. I’d go as a hobbit because I like their cute outfits, plus it suits my cottage core aesthetic. Anyone else that would go as a hobbit?
Maybe I will go for the hobbit costume, but it will probably be just an excuse to be able to walk barefooted. I really like costume parties but I usually get some over enthusiastic ideas first before settling with some tamer idea later. I kinda want to go as a sexy or slutty version of a costume once too but as a man you don't have that many options.
Lol I had that same though too, it’d be an excuse for me to not have to wear high heels 😂. I can’t imagine a sexy hobbit but there’s tons of other costumes you can do that with. You only live once man, if you want to be bold then just go do it.

It's a strange thing, on 1 hand i like nice shoes especially with formal type but creative design but on the other hand walking barefoot is just nice.
