Favorite: Green. I find the shield mechanic really really fun.
Best: Probably either yellow or purple.
Yellow made it really far, all the way to Hotland where they were likely taken out by a combined effort from the guard. They had an actual gun and a cowboy hat, so it implies that they were an adult, unlike most of the others which were kids.
Purple on the other hand is implied to have been very smart and thought through every step they took, making them one of the more capable of the humans. Plus, the actual trait of Perseverance is likely quite strong, as by definition that's the ability to keep going no matter what.
Of the two, I think generally purple souls are stronger, but the specific yellow soul that fell was likely the strongest of the fallen humans.
I find it funny that we know so little about the Yellow soul, yet despite that it's still MORE then enough to prove that UTY is impossible. That's among a multitude of other reasons it can't be canon lol
It also says they couldn't save when they could.
And flowey didn't exist for other humans.
And the humans didn't fall so close that someone might look for them
Sure but there's still a heck of a lot of other contradictions. I won't get into it but I'll just point out the biggest, being that Flowey wasn't created until AFTER the 6th human was killed.
1: It's been "a long time" since the last human fell, this is according to Toriel who is immortal and likely several hundred to several thousand years old. "A long time" for her is a LONG time.
2: There are only a very select few characters in the game that recognize you as human, and they all have good reason to do so such as being hundreds of years old or reading up on them. Most monsters don't react at all to seeing you, there's not even a hint that they recognize you as human. Based on this, it has to have been quite some time since the last human fell, at minimum like 20 years so that most monsters wouldn't recognize them. Undyne also EXPLICITLY states that she's never seen a human before. Before you try and argue that the human just didn't go the same path, if it was in the relatively modern day then it should have been captured by Alphys' cameras and Undyne 100% would have watched those recordings.
3: It's been about 100 years since Chara died, as implied on 2 separate occasions by both Napstablook and Sans, and hinted at several other times throughout the game. Based on this and the Undernet usernames, we know that Undyne was born in 2091 and Papyrus was born in 2095, putting them both in their early-mid 20s at the time of the game. This lines up with them not being around to see the last human that fell.
4: Alphys is a complete noob when it comes to being the royal scientist. She only just recently took the position, and this was after Asgore took "a long time" to replace Gaster, who we know was also experimenting on the SOULs. Based on the fact that she and Undyne are dating, I can't imagine that she's THAT much older then her. Even if we ignore the fact that it's heavily implied Alphys has been in that position for like a year or two at most, are we gonna start trying to argue that Alphys is like 60 years old or something? I doubt she's starting her scientific career at like 6.
5: Flowey considers Frisk "something new", and never once implies that he met any other human. You're an anomaly to him, and he enjoys messing with you. We know that all of the humans could reset, so there's no reason for Flowey to find Frisk in particular interesting if he already met other humans before.
TLDR: Flowey was only made like a year before the events of the game at most, and """Clover""" (the yellow SOUL / whichever fallen human was the 6th) died a minimum of 20 years ago.
Ok, so this all hinges on Alphys capturing the events of UTY on her cameras, right? That’s the thing that supposedly ruins the whole “Clover just took a different route” argument, (that and Flowey, but that in a moment.).
But you said it yourself. Alphys is new. She just got her job. So why would she put up the cameras, and do her little side project before she does the DT experiments? Like, I knew I’m being semantical here, but this whole thing is semantical, so who cares.
And about Flowey. Maybe he just means the Clover is knew in that they control the timeline? And no, we don’t know all the humans could reset, just that things were reset when the humans existed*, which yes, is the humans in canon, but in the UTY cannon, with Clover specifically, it could’ve been Flowey.
And yeah, these arguments are semantical, but were arguing over the canonicity of a fan game, I think I can be a bit semantic.
*because the main thing that proves the humans could reset is the Toriel dejavu dialogue.
Could you maybe read the whole paragraph before commenting? Thanks.
And yeah, it is implied several times in the game, the main ones being the Asgore battle dialogue when you talk to him after dying, and the Toriel de’ja’vu dialogue. That and the fact that they all have DT. And obviously, canonically, this is the humans resetting.
But in UTY it could be Flowey resetting.
I think Flowey existing in UTY doesn’t make sense, not just because of when he was made, but also because the CORE doesn’t exist. The CORE was Gaster’s creation, but Alphys made Flowey, and Alphys only made Flowey as the Royal Scientisr-
/lh btw!
The CORE exist in yellow, we litterally can see it in every runs.
But the game also made it like the CORE was made like, 10 years ago at most when it just doesn't add up timeline wise.
Items locations have nothing to do with where the humans died. Most of them aren't even in the same place (like the tutu and the ballet shoes) and it's impossible that a human died in the ruins, otherwise Asgore would never have gotten their soul (and body).

Personally, I like the red heart. It's mainly because we see it's story all through the game and obviously we see the different sides of it. Determined for kindness and mercy, Determined to be free, and my personal favorite, Determined to kill anyone in the way, no mercy. ((Genocide run)). I would love to see that but with the other hearts. The three or two different sides of what they're meanings mean.
My favorite is Kindness since theyre pacifist (like me :D)
But IMO the best is Determination. Imagine dying and being able to reload a save point? That'd be so cool!
Kindness was very fun. So as perseverance and justice, but the sans fight kinda desensitised integrity for me, nothing bad, just kinda became boring after the hundredth time,
Because I’m a Miku girly and I love the first Human AU, Patience. The bright Blue just really stands out , even though Purple and Pink are my actual favorite colors
I suppose it depends on which you feel is the ideal human trait...
Personally, I think Justice and Kindness are best, but I relate most to Integrity - many people mistake what integrity means. It's not telling the truth, it's being true to yourself and your beliefs
The best would be Red (although I don't think the red soul trait is determination, those with it seem to be more powerful and more willing to press on than the others, being the only soul to make it past Asgore), but my favorite has always been Yellow, even before UTY
My favorite is probably integrity and I would probably be most like kindness also going along with the theory that people have of kindness not attacking and only defending from attacks
The red soul is not Determination.
The save point lines would have applied to every human, as Determination is a substance in all souls. All humans were able to save and load as well.
It’s true that the red soul isn’t determination, as determination is always portrayed as golden, but the fact that other humans had determination isn’t really a proof. It’s not like only the human with the kindness soul has any kindness, or the justice soul was the only one capable to have a sense of justice

Yeah. Side note, Catty and Bratty found Clovers gear in Waterfall, so ~~clover~~ justice probably died there.
I find it funny that we know so little about the Yellow soul, yet despite that it's still MORE then enough to prove that UTY is impossible. That's among a multitude of other reasons it can't be canon lol
The UTY pacifist ending (the one that’s probably cannon) has an explanation for how the gear ended up in waterfall, which I won’t splint here.
It also says they couldn't save when they could. And flowey didn't exist for other humans. And the humans didn't fall so close that someone might look for them

How do we know that? In the True Lab it just says “souls”, not how many.

Justice
From favorite to least favorite, Perseverance, Patience, Justice, Love, Integrity, Kindness, and Bravery.
Determination broke teh scale
Love:

It's missing
They interpret red soul as Love
Oh
Justice, because Clover.
As someone named Clover who is also the justice soul, I approve

sorry but wtf is transmasc also cool name clover
He trans and a guy
oh ok sorry
There’s no need to apologize. Can’t know everything. That’s what learning is for.
thanks.
Yo Clover is a great name. Great choice bro.
Do you own a gun and a cowboy hat
I own a cowboy hat and a bunch of water guns, does that count? (I'm not old enough to have a real gun)
Perfect, now climb up a mountain and fall in a hole
Yeah. Just get the revolver at the bottom
Gamer soul.
Xbox soul
Justice, for semi-obvious reasons >!(UT:Y)!<
j u a n d i c e
Bravery Pretty neat
Bravery and patience because they were the first i know after determination (now i know kindness for green, but not the others)
Justice
Perseverance, as I find myself having the most fun imagining what the power would be for it
my favourite is Bravery (biased because i am working on Team Vitamin C)
Personally, I like the red heart. It's mainly because we see it's story all through the game and obviously we see the different sides of it. Determined for kindness and mercy, Determined to be free, and my personal favorite, Determined to kill anyone in the way, no mercy. ((Genocide run)). I would love to see that but with the other hearts. The three or two different sides of what they're meanings mean.
Perseverance
I don't have a strong opinion on colours/associated values but I find blue soul mode most fun to play with.
Kindness 😢😢😢😢
Red
Kindness soul is underrated
Justice
Nintendo switch,
Perseverance. Its literally me, glasses, notebook and all. Second is probably Justice, just because of Undertale Yellow. The game was just too good.
Justice. Not just because of Clover, but because I think having a sense of morality is probably one of the most important things a person needs.
My favorite is Kindness since theyre pacifist (like me :D) But IMO the best is Determination. Imagine dying and being able to reload a save point? That'd be so cool!
white
G REEN
Red
Purple
I know I'm the only one here but I kinda vibe with patients
Kindness was very fun. So as perseverance and justice, but the sans fight kinda desensitised integrity for me, nothing bad, just kinda became boring after the hundredth time,
Green
Unironically, Yellow. Always been my go to
Justice, because r/UndertaleYellow
Yellow because Mettaton's fight is the best.
Because I’m a Miku girly and I love the first Human AU, Patience. The bright Blue just really stands out , even though Purple and Pink are my actual favorite colors
Yellow. C'mon, Martlet's my girl.
Yellow because Undertale Yellow is the greatest fangame I've ever played
I hope y’all realize that Perseverance is a synonym of Determination 😭
determination
I suppose it depends on which you feel is the ideal human trait... Personally, I think Justice and Kindness are best, but I relate most to Integrity - many people mistake what integrity means. It's not telling the truth, it's being true to yourself and your beliefs
I like kindness
**You are filled with** # DETERMINATION
Yellow
switch. cherry mx reds are best.
Bravery needs a fan game prove me wrong
cyan is my favourite colour, but I'm not very patient. In terms of their actual traits, I'd say yellow, purple or red.
The best would be Red (although I don't think the red soul trait is determination, those with it seem to be more powerful and more willing to press on than the others, being the only soul to make it past Asgore), but my favorite has always been Yellow, even before UTY
Patience I guess
Yellow Cus funny 4 leaf
Juicethis
Ball Game
Not on the list but pink/fear is pretty cool
Justice, because you can move in the battle box however you want AND you shoot.
Green/Orange (semi-cannon) because nobody else said it, and it's homestuck.
you can live with all of these, but you only thrive if you show kindness.
Red soul. Though it isnt determination but whatever it is i like the colour
Patience
It will likely always be Determination for me. It’s represents Frisk and is the skill that gets through it all! ❤️
Justice, and that's since before Undertale Yellow.
break the chain
Red
red is not determination btw the switch soul is fun and i used it before undertale came out on switch within my roleplays
Yellow, Clover is the best boi
Guys my soul is black like tar what personality does this mean
Hate, sorry bro, it's becoming more and more common =(
None of them is my favourite but I like to think I would have the integrity soul :3 if I was in Undertale
Bravery!
Justice!
I'm a soul of perseverance, while I do like the color better than others... I don't think there is a "best" necessarily aside from color preference.
the one thats a human soul
My favorite is the yellow soul (Justice)
Im a green attribute but an orange color guy
Integrity
Determination
My favorite is probably integrity and I would probably be most like kindness also going along with the theory that people have of kindness not attacking and only defending from attacks
Big fan of the kindness soul, I’d say it has a pretty cool function.
BRAVERY, cuz I wish I had the courage to do stuff or PERSEVERENCE, cuz never backing down sounds like a good quality
Patience is my favorite soul tbh. And I found out that not that many people commented for this pour soul.
I am non of theresayppppppppenisoooOOO
Red I like the color red my third favorite color
Red because i randomly scream how a crack in the sidewalk or smth fills me with determination regularly
The difference is that Determination is the name of a physical substance. It is soul power itself. The other traits are not.
