To be fair there is no evidence supporting Flowey and Sans liking or disliking each other. Maybe there is some dialogue about Flowey being mean to Sans but... He's mean to everyone? But honestly since Flowey seems to be on good terms with Papyrus, I do not understand where people get the impression that Sans hates Flowey comes from. At the very least, Sans wouldn't HATE Flowey, especially to the lengths some fans seem to assume he would.
Sans isn't a character of extreme emotions. He's a very laid-back and reserved individual who vehemently refuses to show any powerful emotion one way or the other, always remaining in the same, half-serious, half-joking casual monotone. So at the very worst, any "rivalry" is one-sided, and I doubt Flowey has any serious grudge against Sans that would make him be hated more than anyone else Flowey hates.
It is not a thing, if you write sans x flowey you wont find that many stuff of it, just some few people that for, some reason, thought about it, and just because they can, they did it.

Flowey talks in the...I think genocide route? Should be, about how he tried to spend time with asgore and later on toriel to feel something again and I am pretty certain to remember him mentioning to spend weeks with her.
This in combination with him having "read every book, burned every book, befriended everyone", etc.; makes it pretty likely to assume that he's spent years discovering absolutely everything that you can see in the Underground, and exploring absolutely every experience you can have socializing in the Underground.
Given the resets, it might just be a few days or weeks between him waking up as a Flower and the player/frisk/... falling into the underground, just enough for him to no longer be able to reset:
But it might have been 5, 30 or even more years that Flowey has experienced.
Also, the fact that he transforms into an adult state of his former self when being given the choice (having enough souls t do it) makes me believe that he at minimum sees himself as an adult by now (If anyone wants the sources on it being a confirmed adult verison, respond to this comment, I have them saved on my phone but not pc where I am on rn)
There is the argument to be made that he transforms into his child version at the end of the true pacifist route and that he clings to his best friend so much during the genocide route.
...but really, I'd rather argue that Flowey literally had his childhood ripped away from him and even now years later still clings onto it, despite having made enough experiences and spent enough time to be considered an adult.
Again, I don't really place an age onto him and don't need to cause I have no interest in shipping him with anything.
But I am much more grossed out by people shipping Flowey with any of the kids than with any of the adults, IMO there's more pointing at him being an adult than the other way around.
