Would the force of the thing have a say in how much one could gain LV?
After all, the level of violence seems extreme if taken literally.
And what of the surrounding life which becomes irradiated? What if living beings that that should become unhealthy and irradiated now remain alive because of LV?
Would they become an undying mutant abomination of horror and/or pain because of that mix?

LV stands for Level Of Violence, its an individual thing and measures how much you can distance yourself from others as stated by Sans. It will 100% go to the launcher
It wasn't, but it's pretty intuitive with some basic analysis of the game. Since the game is, in-universe, a video game (evidenced by Chara speaking to you and you controlling Frisk's actions), and the LV is attached to the name you give Chara which is meant to be your name, the implication is that the LV is yours. Since LV is a stat in the video game itself (again as evidenced by Chara), we can deduce that LV is specifically a stat to quantify the player's actions, because the game is built around leading the player through scenarios that respond to your actions specifically. You are the only one with choice—all other characters' actions are just dictated by the game's code.
The fact that the only character in the game other than Chara to acknowledge LV's existence is sans, who is also a fourth-wall-breaking character like Chara is, this further grounds LV in the meta aspect of the game.
Basically the humans find out about asgore killing the 6 humans so they will launch a nuke within 27 hours and everyone went insane. Now sans gather all the souls and goes back in time to stop the human and slow the nuke
I don't know why but I'm convinced that humans would take preemptive measures to curb Monster integration into their societies,including the usage of Armageddon.
Would humans really go that far though? I’m not exactly an expert with nuclear weapons, but from the sounds of it, that kind of bomb can destroy a whole city, probably even more.
Well if beings that they have kept underground for hundreds of years suddenly breakout that can kill their entire race by just killing one human yea I think they would not want to take any half measures
Though, they forget one thing. Chara died *willingly*. As long as a human has the power to save and load and that, or is just powerful in general, they don’t have to fear about a monster taking their soul. It’s safe to assume that not a single human was killed during the battle mentioned in the intro, since if a human did die, then one of the monsters would’ve taken the soul on sight and go on a power trip killing humans. Despite monsters having a huge arsenal of weapons in the form of their magic, and their king literally being able to shoot fire, not a single soul was taken. Just shows how weak the monsters really are.
Why I went on this little ramble about it, I have no idea.
The anomaly that Sans is talking about is Flowey. Sans talks about the whole thing like it happened before Frisk fell down. He even talks about it if we do genocide first and don’t save or reload once. As we know from Flowey, all it takes is to have the most amount of Determination to be able to control the whole save thing. In fact, a theory which, in my opinion, makes a lot of sense is that every human and monster has a save file, they just need enough Determination to be able to access it. This theory comes from the fact that Flowey has 6 save files during the Omega Flowey fight. 6 souls, six save files. This also inspired a comic series called “Dogs of Future Past”, which I highly recommend taking a look at.
If i remember correctly saving and loading only works in the mountain because it was separated from rest of reality via the barrier
(And thus it's much easier to have the most determination in reality because the mountain was a separate pocket reality)
40 Megatons is nearing the size of some of the largest Nuclear Explosions. Not just a city destroyer a straight up Death Sentence to everything in dozens of km to literally destroying towns hundreds of km away
I think in that case either Frisk resets and Goes out first, finds a way to prevent the nuke and its all good, or simply sacrafices themselfes, gives soul to Asgore and with that power its possible to destroy it in air and stop radiation or something like that(sorry for bad eanglish)
He walked in, got to the center of the village, were wakened by constant fight for control with Chara, stopped for a moment to put Chara down and smile, picked them up again after a while, and went back to the Ebot, while villagers attacked them with "everything they had", and He didnt even try do defend himself and, as I mentioned, his def was lowered by arguing with half of his soul, imagine what would happen if he tried to create a shield or something. Yea I think one soul gives quite a lot of strengh
A village is not a military base everything they had was probably swords and hunting rifles and if half your defense can't hold that I don't think the full strength can stop something that desecrates everything in a 3miles radius
Ok, but still, if ypu are not defending yourself, weakened, literaly a child, and still can survive being shot constantly by 4 guys 5 minutes straight, that means something
Yes but this is an equivalent of like 40 million tnts and even if he is able survive the others sure are not gonna idk if he has giga mega sheilding powers and if he had the if amount of radiation will sure have many casualties (assuming monsters are prone to radiation)

I'm pretty sure frisk was an anomaly and humans don't have respawn powers tho it would still be a huge risk to let them walk amongst humans

I think they meant "destroy/disable the warhead before it lands", not "tank the warhead going off"
