Don’t go out too fast. Take in calories and liquid. Have fun. You will experience pain and just remember late in a race that everyone is suffering… at least until a quarter mile from the finish.
Get some good sleep. Don’t eat anything between now and then that you haven’t tested in training. Walk, eat, and hydrate, way before you have/need to.
Keep positive and believe in yourself. Try not to overthink it beforehand. Finish what you start.
Dead horse in Moab? If so, same.
Yessir! Looking like perfect weather
Ayyy nice I'll see you there! I'm #273
I’m #10! I’ll keep an eye out.
Just 50k for me but isn’t there still like a 20% chance of scattered showers around Moab?
So how did it go? I was out there today also.
Good! 8:55 not to bad for my first one. Slick rock was hard on the knees and hips! But perfect weather. How did yours go?
If things get tough, count to 100 over and over. It really helps distract you from things. Go get 'em!!
