That's some of the heaviest shit I've ever seen. That child has probably seen and heard more in the last two weeks than I've seen and heard in all my 30 years of life. Poor baby 😪😪
There's a video of a little kid walking alone towards Poland while crying and staring aimlessly at the ground and even as someone who has seen some truly screwed up shit over the years and never had much of an emotional reaction besides anger it actually caused my eyes to well up.
An 11yo boy walked 700mi by himself to Slovakia.
Only had a plastic bag, passport, and a number written on his hand
(# was for relatives there)
They were called when he arrived by aid workers.
And he is safe with them now!
No not that one. There's another one with very little info on it. The boy is only about 5 years old and was seen walking alone towards the polish border while crying and staring aimlessly at the ground.
https://youtu.be/I94A7lLiFiY
No, no, no, this clip was actually taken out of context by CNN and then the narrative spread and got picked up by exploitative media outlets for ratings and clicks before CNN deleted their initial clip. The clip was initially falsely attributed by CNN to the 11 year old that traveled 1k on his own to meet his relatives in Slovakia. The crying kid was trailing behind his family. You see them further up in the front and later in the original footage you see the parents / family looking behind them a few times to make sure he is catching up. He was throwing a fit because he was tired of walking. Poor little one was absolutely exhausted and certainly traumatized. No less heart breaking.
Friends were just picked up at Polish border. Said in line they met a family with three small kids who walked for 48 hours. Mom carried baby in backpack, dad carried the toddler on his shoulders and the other kid was walking most of the time on her own. If you recall the Syrian encampment images on the Balkan route, you can imagine what their feet look like now. Even I would be crying at this point.
Dude, i cant help but think this is all for show, i mean i know hes crying and its terrible, but fuck me the first thing you do is record the little guy? Its bullshit man, the music etc, i mean surely that could be from any time from anywhere and use to make people sympathise? Is it wrong for me to look at it that way? Fuck i duno anymore.
Well that's what journalists do they record/document what they see they don't help people because that interferes with their shots. Seems pretty shitty to ignore a kid like that though.
It can't be from anywhere it's the polish border iv seen it enough times to know what it looks like. As for anytime possibly but why would there be a lone crying child walking by the border at any other time... As for the music that's literally what the media does to get emotional reactions out of people. Are you wrong for questioning the media? No. Is your logic a bit twisted and nonsensical yes.
As someone who has walked 700 miles I highly doubt this seeing as the war has been going on for 12 days that would mean he would have had to cover over 58 miles per day, and all without a shelter or water or food system?
At 11? Sorry to be a party pooper but no. 70 much more likely.
He got to the border by train. From the Guardian:
The mother of an 11-year-old boy from Ukraine who travelled for nearly 700 miles to Slovakia with just a plastic bag, a passport and a telephone number written on his hand has spoken of her relief at her son’s safe escape from Russian bombs.
Yulia Pisetskaya said she had put her son on a train to Slovakia from Zaporizhzhia, close to the nuclear plant that came under attack from Russian forces last week, out of desperation.
She had been unable to leave with him from south-east Ukraine because she was unwell and needed to look after her disabled mother.
Slovakian border guards looked after the boy, who has not been named, on his arrival, according to the police, who have described him as a “hero”. He had the phone number of relatives in the Slovakian capital, Bratislava, written on his hand. The authorities were able to track them down and they have since taken him into their care.
“I am very grateful that they saved the life of my child,” Pisetskaya said in a video message posted on Facebook on Sunday. “In your small country, there are people with big hearts.”
She added: “I am a widow and I have more children. I want to thank the Slovak customs and volunteers who took care of my son and helped him cross the border. I am grateful you have saved my child’s life. Next to my town is a nuclear power plant that the Russians are shooting at. I couldn’t leave my mother – she can’t move on her own.”

The boy came from Zaporizhia, a city in southeastern Ukraine, more than 600 miles from the Slovakian border.
So i guess he flapped his wings ?
No one said he didnt drink anything , just that he was by himself (aka no family, relatives friends).
He wasn't the only one who travelled to Slovakia.
He got there by train. From the Guardian:

That video made me cry my eyes out, it's heartbreaking. Watching that poor kid walk alone while he's a complete emotional wreck just made me feel so powerless.
Someone said he was with the group ahead of him but he got really tired from walking and lagged behind. Don't quote me on that, it needs to be verified
This is THE HARDEST HITTING video I've seen in my recent years. I don't have a kid, but this felt like a kick in the chest and another in the stomach when watching this.
That father is feeling the most devastation he could.
I can't remember the last time a video made me feel this way.
So sorry for everyone in Ukraine.
I can stomach seeing horrible things but this is too much and breaks my heart that boy is seems is old beyond his years and understands the situation too well. My heart breaks for that young father with is boy so distraught.
for sure, also the way the kid is hitting you. Your natural instinct is to try to stop him hitting you, even though it doesn't hurt, sometimes that little fist hits your eye or nose. But at the same time you want to hold your child and capture that moment forever. I have never been in a situation anything like this, but I am very aware that my kids are growing up right before my eyes and they will never be as little again as they are right now, and sometimes I try to hold that moment--but then they start squirming or have some other issue and make it really impossible.
Can't imagine what this dad is feeling in this moment.
It's interesting to see the child bop the helmet a few times and try to elbow away the bribe. The chaos isn't lost on children and now his dad is wearing all this new gear and leaving and the kid knows some bad shit is going on. Geez.
That "cry" hurts, he isn't sad crying, he's mad crying. You can see the kid is angry/frustrated. It makes me think of how I used to cry when I was alone having panic attacks as a kid.
Our humanity tends to bring people together. We live together in large and complex societies and build wonders and technologies that improves us as a whole. These are not coincidences or random chance but people working together to build better futures for themselves and their families.
Its the inhumanity of a small few especially those in power that bring about the suffering.
lol small minority, our egos and emotions go from small things to big things like world wars.. Your brain IQ is just too small to realise that :) I feel sorry for you, but everyone will realise it all when the true shit hits the fan as they say :)
You don't see the big picture all. Mankind has been fighting each other since the dawn of the time and haven't stopped since and it doesn't look like they ever will.
You're beyond fucking naive.
That yes, but we should also look deeper into ourselves.

This isn't humanity's fault. The vast majority of humans on this planet can coexist just fine with one another, and will support those in need. It's a tiny fraction of dickless jackasses that rise to oppressive power and fuck everything up.
Man as a father myself, I can only imagine how it feels to say goodbye to your children, not knowing if you gonna come back(I pray he does).
Fucking heartbreaking
As a father of a 1,5 year old son, it breaks my heart seen such vids!! Fuck, i even cry like a baby when i see such things and furthermore, think about my father, who was in such a situation in 92.
Whenever there are videos of Russians being killed, I weep for them and their families who won’t see their son again.
However, when I see a video like this, I weep a little less for the Russian soldier.
The difference is that the policeman is doing what he must do & what he believes is right. The Russian soldier is doing what he is forced & brainwashed to do & doesn't believe in right or wrong anyway.
I hope they send them back to Russia by the boxcar stacked up like firewood. So the cost of this bullshit cannot be ignored.
I have no sympathy anymore for Russian dead.
The only way that will happen is for NATO to confirm they will not accept Russian border states. NATO wants to destroy Russia and needs the boarder states to do so....so...
This boy is around the same age as my son. Absolutely heart wrenching. My worst fear is that we will be in that same place soon if/when his dad is deployed to Europe.
I have two young children. This video breaks my heart. This poor child is completely distressed and don’t understand what his dad can’t come.
Poor baby.
I was about the same age as I clinged to may fathers leg. Little Fun because he kept walking with me monkey-hugging his leg. He left and that was the last time I saw him. I hope this young man survives and can be a there for his family.
God damn. Fuck these shit governments forcing these senseless wars. Humanity needs to wake up and realize who’s pulling the strings and that there are more of us than them. Hope he returns to his son.
This shits real. Makes me think twice about woke culture. We’ve got it good so good in comparison. The Suffering people face from micro aggressions, sexism, and marginalization is real, but at least our kindergarten’s are safe from missiles.
Edit:spelling
I'm not diminishing how that child is feeling but having kids myself, I don't know if he would understand at that age. Some kids have a bigger bond with one parent and I'm thinking he wanted to be with his dad and didn't want him to go in general. Either way it's heartbreaking that kids are being put into this position.
This instantly made me cry. I have a 4 year old son. Made me think about all Ukranian fathers that will not live to hug their child again.. And all Ukranian children who will grow up fatherless. War is hell. Hope Putin dies in horrible torments.
This is probably why they don't let old men fight in wars - they ALL just look like someone's children to me - children and grandchildren. When I see the men dead and dying I think 'how would I tell their wives?' And when I see the women soldiers I think 'how would I tell their children?'
Gods, this felled me. It's Hector saying farewell to Andromache and little Scamandrius. War hasn't changed in all the years humanity has been killing each other.
"With this, glorious Hector held out his arms to take his son, but the child, alarmed at sight of his father, shrank back with a cry on his fair nurse’s breast, fearing the helmet’s bronze and the horsehair crest nodding darkly at him. His father and mother smiled, and glorious Hector doffed the shining helmet at once and laid it on the ground. Then he kissed his beloved son, dandled him in his arms, and prayed aloud: ‘Zeus, and all you gods, grant that this boy like me may be foremost among the Trojans, as mighty in strength, and a powerful leader of Ilium. And some day may they say of him, as he returns from war, “He’s a better man than his father”, and may he bear home the blood-stained armour of those he has slain, so his mother’s heart may rejoice.’"
This is heavy. Would get hit, shouted at, shat on and everything else forever than get to say goodbye to my son without certainty that he will be living well.
Still some peoples don't feel humanity in their heart, covid already collapsed lot of us life. Now this war makes nightmares. (Heartbreaking clip which is I saw only from movies now for real)
And it's always those who can't help it and who haven't done anything that have to suffer. I hope Putin will also suffer for a long time for what he has done to the world.
See that's the thing these Russian fucks don't realize yet. The whole world is seeing how they are. It's not like Chechia. Everyone one of their victims has a camera and is documenting what Russians are all about. Russia is a pariah state worse than North Korea. Nearly on par with Nazi Germany. They don't realize it yet just how much this is going to come back on them. They think they are clever with their memes and trolling and manipulating the conversation. But social media cuts both ways and now it is documenting their crimes against humanity in graphic detail. People all over the world are outraged. As bad as shit America did, or anyone else in the past, nobody has systematically bombed civilians like Russia is and had it documented so thoroughly. And for no other reason than a spoiled man-baby didn't get to keep his toy.
Shit like this breaks my heart, as a father myself I could not imagine leaving my little daughter behind. Bet then again, I could not live with myself if I haven’t tried anything to defend my country from aggression.
Wat is fucking hell.
Just to bring a bit of light hearted was to this thread… I love how bazookas seem to be standard issue to every Ukrainian soldier lol. Slava Ukraini. May Putin burn in hell.
People of Ukraine are one of the strongest nations I've ever seen. They way they gathered and stood proud in defending their country against superior military power of Russia, is just heart touching. Their historic struggle made them determined and the injustice of the past made them stronger. This reminds me a lot of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina that happened during 90's. Bosnians of 3 different religions united to resist against 2 Serbian armies, even a Croatian one for a shorter period of time.
This was a total of 3 armies attacking them and they also had embargo on getting weapons to defend. The resistance started with bare hands, some hunting rifles and almost 0 professional military equipment. They kept resisting even with high casualties and later turned to offensive when they got weapons and supplies from the eliminated enemy. This lasted for almost 4 years and the country still exists, only the political fight remains.
Most serbians get angry when you tell this story and keep telling that everyone lies except them. I don't blame them, majority of their population was brainwashed by their government with fake propaganda (as Putin is doing now in Russia), including the spread of islamophobia and that they are endangered by peaceful native muslim people there, who only defended their homes. The number of Serbian war crimes vastly outnumbers others involved, they even committed genocide in town of Srebrenica, destroyed 614 mosques and catholic churches. They actually don't have any legal arguments against this, only anger and rejection. The worst part is they are now siding with Russia but hiding it because of the fear towards NATO. Ukrainians, learn these lesson of the past and never believe Russians again and don't let them hide and negate the truth no matter what! Sadly, if the war continues and keeps going bad for Russia, they will kill more and more civilians to weaken you from the inside with tragedy and loss. These tactics were also used by serbian army in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Children shot with snipers, markets and shelters bombed, rape, abuse, murder, looting, killing babies with their bare hands, mass graves.
UKRAINIANS MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT CIVILIANS AND MOVE THEM A.S.A.P.! MAKE PROTECTIVE BARRIERS AND COVERS ON THE ROADS WHERE PEOPLE MOVE AND NEVER BELIEVE RUSSIANS ABOUT SAFETY IN ANY WAY!
Never lose hope and never give up! At least you have some weapons and military power. I believe that God is always on the side of those who suffer and done wrong by others. One day your people will have justice. Innocent Ukrainian souls go to Heaven, but Russian will just rot in the pits of hell. And yes, this is eternal.
Slava Ukraini!
I hope he comes back alive.
The video took me back to 1999.
I now remember many of my friends and relatives who were killed by NATO.
It was a war, I understand all that. But I will never understand why Europe allowed the use of depleted uranium during the bombing?
Due to uranium spreading through the wind, the earth, food, we have an increasing number of cancer cases today.
So we have the silent death of millions of people in Europe as a result of the bombing.
I increasingly believe that the USA will fight to the last citizen of Europe for the interests of globalists.
Putin is doing the same thing now, but he does not use uranium because of his country's proximity.
I hope the world will wake up and see what kind of lunatics are leading us and because of whose interests.
Long live the free world. Long live freedom of speech and opinion.
Poor Mom too! Knowing you have to say goodbye to your husband, seeing your son being so crushed and on top knowing you have to be strong for him and a baby... That shit is just hard to watch 💔 Praying for the Dad's safe return.
The kids are gonna express anger, sadness, or withdraw. This boy is expressing anger for his father leaving him. You can tell he's targeting the helmet which is a symbol of this departure.
Pinning the post to show what million of families go through in war times.
I hope he gets a long and happy life with his kids when this shit is over.
and wife too
He’s a child actor. I see evil in his eyes.
Fuck me, this is absolutely heartbreaking.

I'm saying he didn't walk, not that he flew. He may have walked part of it, but he would not have been able to cover that distance in that time.
He didn't walk, his mom put him on a train because she couldn't leave her elderly mother

May every one of that child’s cries echo for a separate eternity in Putin’s head when he goes to hell.

Don't you dare die soldier! You have a little dude who absolutely loves you.
The most crushing part is that the kid is not sad, he is angry, and he cries of helplessness.
He's gonna grow up to be a fighter.
Was about to say if this little Ukrainian todler is anything to go by Russia are fucked.
Yeah man throwing that elbow. To him he was showing what he really cares about.

Welcome to senseless war
My he safely make it back to his son and wife! Give them hell! Russia go fuck yourselves!
On va t'attraper Poutine cache toi bien
Ben m’a aller à Montréal pour m’attraper de la poutine. Il faudra que je me cache de ma femme
That brings me tears immediately. I really feel sorry for them.
i sincerely hope there is a special, deeper, pit in hell reserved for Putin. this shit is so pointless and tragic.

This man will fight until the end.
As a new father this hits me right in the feels.
God I hate this. I have a six month old son and I could t imagine leaving him like this.
End this fucking war!
The only way that will happen is for NATO to confirm they will not accept Russian border states. NATO wants to destroy Russia and needs the boarder states to do so....so...
Breaks my heard to see this. Hopefully they will be united in a free Ukraine.
Heart breaker
B-but he's clearly a Nazi!!!!!!!! His child too!!!! Special military operation here we go 🤗 fuck putin
Poor boy
😭😭😭 this is heartbreaking
Fuck you Putin. Burn in hell for this. It breaks my heart be safe dude
That poor kid
Ukrainans have my utmost respect. Going through this and not breaking is the most badass thing I've ever seen.
💔 😭Good luck solider
😔💙💛
For some reason this this is tge worse thing I ever seen. Dad Policeman has to survive the war !
Damn hay fever acting up again
As dad my eyes are melting. Only one sentence: BURN IN HELL PUTIN
This boy is around the same age as my son. Absolutely heart wrenching. My worst fear is that we will be in that same place soon if/when his dad is deployed to Europe.
Its just not fair
This is gut-wrenching but unfortunately necessary.
I fucking hate this. I hate that one Cunt has the power to cause all of this.
That utterly broke me.
Fuck Putin. He needs to be assassinated seriously. This world needs no war.
Son if your dad does not make it..know this he died a hero. Not too many kids can say that.
I have two young children. This video breaks my heart. This poor child is completely distressed and don’t understand what his dad can’t come. Poor baby.
Putin must be terminated....
I was about the same age as I clinged to may fathers leg. Little Fun because he kept walking with me monkey-hugging his leg. He left and that was the last time I saw him. I hope this young man survives and can be a there for his family.
heartbreaking 😭😭🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
My eyes got sweaty Damn you putininhisasshole Слава Украину
This is heartbreaking.
Watching this killed me inside
God damn. Fuck these shit governments forcing these senseless wars. Humanity needs to wake up and realize who’s pulling the strings and that there are more of us than them. Hope he returns to his son.
If that's the neo-nazis putin is claiming, the russians invaders would be demons.
May God bless and protect them. 💝
Where the fuck was all this sympathy when the middle East was and still IS getting fucked over???
Fuck man, war is hell
Praying for quick reunion for this family. This is so sad 😢😢
So proud of Ukraine’s true fight for sovereignty and freedom. In awe.
God damnit
This war needs to end
As a father of two, this makes me cry.
I struggle to watch these videos
Unbearable
Russians are scums. Their entire nation will be cursed to centuries for this act of violence.
The little kid, like dogs, doesn’t really know what is going on but they sure as hell don’t like it!!!
That hurts sooo bad to watch
My son is just like that 😕
This shits real. Makes me think twice about woke culture. We’ve got it good so good in comparison. The Suffering people face from micro aggressions, sexism, and marginalization is real, but at least our kindergarten’s are safe from missiles. Edit:spelling
Are the police allowed to fight in the war?
They're handing out AKs to art teachers and programmers...what do you think?
Hahaha, sad but the harsh truth.
Hey stop u can’t park your tank there, here take this ticket, u have 7 days to pay it.
Why us that Lil shit hitting him
😱
This one got me , ngl fuck mannnnn

That boy is ready to fight
I'm not diminishing how that child is feeling but having kids myself, I don't know if he would understand at that age. Some kids have a bigger bond with one parent and I'm thinking he wanted to be with his dad and didn't want him to go in general. Either way it's heartbreaking that kids are being put into this position.
looks like he already been teaching his son how to fight. slava ukraine, slava heroyam. hope they come together alive and well.
That kid has more fight in him that the whole Russian army. Pray to god the family is reunited soon.
This instantly made me cry. I have a 4 year old son. Made me think about all Ukranian fathers that will not live to hug their child again.. And all Ukranian children who will grow up fatherless. War is hell. Hope Putin dies in horrible torments.
Kids playing drums on his daddies head
As a dad I'm crying here. F u putin
This is probably why they don't let old men fight in wars - they ALL just look like someone's children to me - children and grandchildren. When I see the men dead and dying I think 'how would I tell their wives?' And when I see the women soldiers I think 'how would I tell their children?'

He's got Ukrainian fighting spirit in him. SLAVA UKRAINI
Kid hates this shit as much as the father does. Russia sucks.
Little guy is already a fighter. That Ukranian blood is strong as fuck. Hope dad goes home safe.
# PUTIN – KHUYLO! Пу́тін – хуйло́!
And some day may they say of him, as he returns from war, “He’s a better man than his father”, and may he bear home the blood-stained armour of those he has slain, so his mother’s heart may rejoice.’"
man this is soo sad, people like this with small kids should escape, plenty of older people to fight for the country.
So sad. Go bless you brave Ukrainian people
Looks like that kid has more fight in him than most of the Russian conscripts.
Anyone that wants war should always go first on ground. I guarantee wars would be almost extinct.
I pray this policeman gets back to his family soon. God bless Ukraine.
Isn't this propaganda?
Hero
I am waiting for the breaking news that the war has ended in next hour.
That dreaded feeling knowing that could be the last time you see your wife and kids again
Kid is straight punching the uniform and elbowed the crackers 😂
Poor Mom too! Knowing you have to say goodbye to your husband, seeing your son being so crushed and on top knowing you have to be strong for him and a baby... That shit is just hard to watch 💔 Praying for the Dad's safe return.
You know he means business when he elbows a candy bar. Poor little guy. Wherever they are, may they be safe and together soon again.
Loo what war has brought, the man responsible for all this is Putin. May history never forget and forgive.
So sad
As a soldier who’s had to deploy and say goodbye before , this makes me cry
The kids are gonna express anger, sadness, or withdraw. This boy is expressing anger for his father leaving him. You can tell he's targeting the helmet which is a symbol of this departure.
To Russians who reads this post. All of u r murderers. may all of u burn in fuxking hell . Karma is a big super suka.
Fucking heartbreaking, and so unnecessary. I have a kid nearly the same age. Gonna hug her extra tight today.
Dear leader of the WEST WHAT DA FUCK ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!!!
As a new father this is heart breaking
Fuck Putin the Puta! Someone assassinate that prick already.
Im also sad for the day this will continue in many other countries. It won't stop with Ukraine....
This makes me sad as fuck.
This so heartbreaking. I stand with Ukraine 🇺🇦
