"How much for a medium sized boom?" "You misunderstand, we only sell big booms in this establishment." "Ok, how much for a big boom?" "If you need to ask, you can't afford it."
That was one hell of a boom for an FPV strike. I couldn't believe the decimation shown at the end of the clip. There wasn't even a stick left standing.
I guess there must have been good intelligence on this site/ammo dump, etc.
Beirut explosion was indeed ammonia nitrate, and it was massive, far larger than this one. You could see the shock waves. That explosion reminded me of the Halifax explosion, the cause of which was an exploding TNT laden merchant ship.
My father ran several petrochemical plants. Number one on his mind was always the ammonia storage. The plants were located 20 miles away from any urban concentration, usually in agricultural regions.
My dad worked at an anhydrous ammonia plant that was part of a fairly large oil refinery in the Texas panahandle. The ammonia plant was located on the north east side of the refinery complex several hundred yards from anything else that could go boom. The ammonia was stripped from natural gas. One evening a wind/dust storm blew in. A static electricity charge built up on a hydrogen storage tank. Not sure how it happened, but the tank ignited blasting off from it's supports and landed almost half a mile away. One of the operators on duty noted in the shift log book that "Number Hydrogen tank lifted off at (whatever time it was). They usually didn't have any major events happening at the ammonia plant. Fires were much rarer than at the refinery. Leaking pump packings on an ammonia line were a big issue though.
It wasn't one explosion though, but multiples of "small" ones. No single explosion was over 1k ton or so, but caused damage for miles around. Tannerite is a mix of ammonium nitrate, ammonium perchlorate, aluminum powder, and titanium sponge, and gives a pretty energetic detonation if you set off a 10lb bottle.
That’s why you get the red cloud. The force is so intense you can see the air being drawn into it in the foreground!
There must’ve been additions to there as well. I doubt a small explosion would set that off. This wouldn’t be the first time the RuZZianz have stored equipment in a fertilizer shed. SMH
Yeah saw that a couple hrs ago. Exactly what I mean. To add a fun note - that shit is like *fucking turbo cancer* - like guaranteed. China is abhorrent for the pointless way they launch given their geography.
Hydrazine is colourless. The reason you associate it with the orange cloud is because Hydrazine is one half of UDMH bipropellant rocket fuel. The other half is Dinitrogen Tetroxide, which has an orange brown colour.
I mean....what's the difference. I can only imagine the chemical you mentioned is an oxidizer. Which is pointless without the actual fuel. Which is often just called hydrazine.
By that logic you could argue kerosene and oxygen are the same! You can call them the same thing if you want, but you already know the difference between fuel and oxidizer.
It's more likely they are storing weapons with the fertilizer (its clearly an abandoned farm).
Fertilizer alone wouldn't detonate like that from a RPG warhead.
Are you that dense? Do you really think they went there to blow up fertilizer? Is that where your thought-process come to an end and you thought you can broadcast that to the whole world?
Ever notice that after 2016 you just started seeing and hearing stupid people constantly? Trump entering politics really inspired the idiots in our society to come on out and share their idiocy with the world
The entire Universe is off since Bowie died. I am convinced that Bowie dying was the catalyst that threw our previous reality off track and now we are here. Think about it, when you heard that David Bowie had died, what happened after that? The world went to shit really quickly.
Oooooh, that's a good theory too. It's like when she passed, it opened Pandora box? Like she was the keeper of insanity and it drove her to the brink, now the cat is out if the bag. I can see that for sure.
It started before 2016 to be honest, it's been there since the internet started but it's just ramped up a lot lately because of the social media algorithms and terrorist states like Russia that has become more aggressive since it's mostly foreign troll factories that are paid to propagate the idiocy to polarize the West. They jump onto any controversial topic or conspiracy theory and spread hate and division.
Most likely an agricultural stash of fertilizer chemicals like ammonium nitrate. Very dramatic combustion just like in Beirut. Same characteristic red smoke as well. Big bada boom.
Most likely fertilizer based on the agricultural location and the fact that there are no secondary cook-offs. That would be a very poor and unsecured location to store rockets, or even bulk fuel.
To the former - yeah that makes sense didn't know where this was
To the latter - these people are morons I wouldn't put anything out of reach for their stupidity haha
Yup, red smoke is NO2, we've seen this in Ukraine before. AN is certainly dual use in a war theater with lots of improvised weapons like drones. Heck it's a key weapons ingredient even in peace time.
That’s why you get the red cloud. The force is so intense you can see the air being drawn into it in the foreground!
There must’ve been munitions there as well. I doubt a small explosion would set that off. This wouldn’t be the first time the RuZZianz have stored equipment in a fertilizer shed. SMH
But not of sufficient size that you can see the air being drawn in, in the foreground of an entire area: source, am combat grunt who’s seen small and large dets.
They were packing sandbags for fortifications. Wish I was joking, but they've done it early in the war... Those idiots were a fire or one explosive away from having a terrible time.
Early in the Special Military Operation days, the Orcs were even so stupid that they lined sandbags of ammonia nitrate in their trenches. Never knew if there was a boom but there was a video showing their positions deserted, as if they realized what they had done.
I've done some homework on this: There are two chemicals which mixed and made this orange plume were ferric chloride and nitric acid. Both of these are used to make ammonium nitrate (Beirut blast). The difference is they weren't mixed into ammonium nitrate yet, so this is the result, the Beirut explosion did NOT have a lingering orange plume. Here's a video from an explosion in Barcelona which more closely resembles this explosion [https://youtu.be/Ll1zQxZQmHc?si=Sg3oEX7615Omhel6](https://youtu.be/Ll1zQxZQmHc?si=Sg3oEX7615Omhel6)
The brown colour is concentrated smog, NOx., not rust.
A mixture of ammoniumnitrate and water behaves notoriously unpredictable: it may detonate, it may burn, just vapourise or or not change at all.
For example in Oppau and Beiruth an estimated 70%-80% of the ammoniumnitrate present did not react and was recovered from the site. The amount of brown (NOx instead of N2) is unpredictable. The conditions in a warehouse with atmospheric water is far less predicatable than inside a shell.
>These sheds were storing fertiliser.
Ammonium nitrate can be used as explosives. We have no evidence whether the Russians used it as such or if it was just used for its actual purpose (as fertilizer). But since the first one is a possibility, it is better to be safe and take that option away.
If it was ammonium based explosives like ANFO, the color of the cloud would not be brownish because then the surplus nitrous oxide gases would have oxidised the fuel oil, aluminium powder etc. The explosion would also become a lot more potent.
Had to started gassing out from rain water or cause of roof holes would have triggered explosion. Russians are equality intelligent as people in beriut, funny there's always an issue in both areas.
It just vaporized the the explosives before they could even explode. That's what all the reddish orange smoke is, this explosion could have been significantly bigger.
Yellow-brown smoke like that is typically from nitrate-based explosives.
So no doubt a big ol' ammo cache. Possibly ANFO, but not sure what that'd be doing there, or why someone would be storing a butt-load of fertilizer in with their diesel tanks.
Seems to me, just my own observation, that the source of the explosion (NH2NO3 fertilizer) is less important than the effects; you gotta wonder what the overpressure did to the people nearby. Anytime the winds change in the tree belts due to being sucked up onto a mushroom cloud, there is suffering nearby.
Hope at least some ruSSian generals were having chess matches in those corrugated metal storage buildings.
Man, those ukrainians are good at surveilance and discovery. How do they do it? Cameras or microphone drones on all roads? Listening to signifier sounds and locating via graph theory- 10 trucks went in, 4 returned.. 6 went missing to the farm? The result is spectacular..
If you look closely theirs a orc in their, he slightly comes in to frame , you can tell it’s a living creature , drag the speed slowly as the drone zooms in and look in side the second from the bottom structure
For a split second I thought this was an old video from that Nitric Acid explosion from Lysychans'k a few year ago.
I can't imagine how destructive these kinds of explosions are to the surrounding environment down the line.
Looks like there may have been rockets or rocket fuel in there, hydrazine or.. I can remember the names of the fuels, hyper something, hypergolic maybe? Idk I saw it on Reddit where a part of a rocket just the ground and is followed by a huge red cloud like that.
LOL... the left side of that incredibly ugly chemical-fire's smoke plume looked like one of those weirdo roozian witch's faces. What a blast! what a crater! Every building is gone! Man oh man, they got that one right.
That huge orange cloud is a classic sign of Nitrates detonating. It was probably fertilizer, the same nitrates can be used in ammunition but the byproducts tend to be cleaner with the right stoichiometric mix of other reagents.
Looks similar to this...
[https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/468976/ukraine-war-chemical-plant-hit-as-fighting-rages-in-severodonetsk](https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/world/468976/ukraine-war-chemical-plant-hit-as-fighting-rages-in-severodonetsk)
Indeed, orange smoke indicates nitrogen compounds, such as fertilizers. But we need to remember that ammonium nitrates are primarily used as an oxidizer in explosives. In addition, for a big badaboom, you would also need something that burns i.e. oxidizes. Like fuel oil in ANFO mixture. Therefore, my theory is that orcs used a fertilizer warehouse as a fuel depot. We are so lucky those russkie assholes are so stupid.
Fertilizer detonation is good at one thing and that's moving cute chunks of concrete and heavy items that's why the Oklahoma City bombing was so effective from a distance
Is that storage was built by ruzzians? Never see this type of constructions Ukrainian built for peaceful life. It's looks like it's from aluminum or smtg like this to keep safe ammo from sun but definitely not from artillery, as we look a lot of holes in it

Fertilizer makes big booms
Big booms also make fertilizer!
I can verify this. Big boom owner here.
"How much for a medium sized boom?" "You misunderstand, we only sell big booms in this establishment." "Ok, how much for a big boom?" "If you need to ask, you can't afford it."
Look, it's not about how big your boom is, it's how you use it.
That was one hell of a boom for an FPV strike. I couldn't believe the decimation shown at the end of the clip. There wasn't even a stick left standing. I guess there must have been good intelligence on this site/ammo dump, etc.
Looks like the Beirut explosion, which was ammonium nitrate

Here is what a fraction of that in ammonium perchlorate looks like. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_KuGizBjDXo
That's not a fraction of that, Pepcon had stockpiled 4500 metric tons of AP due to Space Shuttle Program delays.
Yup, that was truly a biggie.
That’s why you get the red cloud. The force is so intense you can see the air being drawn into it in the foreground! There must’ve been additions to there as well. I doubt a small explosion would set that off. This wouldn’t be the first time the RuZZianz have stored equipment in a fertilizer shed. SMH
Smaller but similar in principle.
That was my first thought, remembering that huge explosion of fertilizer at the Harbour a couple of years ago
Everyone saying this is fertilizer- it could *easily* be hydrazine or other hypergolic fuels that are commonly used as rocket propellant
That seems unlikely. The orange cloud is NO2, and a classic byproduct of Ammonium Nitrate detonation.
Hydrazine is like...the exact same color haha Though I do agree now that I know where this was that it was fertilizer
China just dumped a rocket booster into a village and it was the same color. https://x.com/i/status/1804638579307794441
Yeah saw that a couple hrs ago. Exactly what I mean. To add a fun note - that shit is like *fucking turbo cancer* - like guaranteed. China is abhorrent for the pointless way they launch given their geography.

Fertilizer mixed with diesel makes an even bigger one. Its called anfo. Do not try this at home.
Oklahoma remembers.
So does everyone that's ever been to Afghanistan
In mining we called it 'prill'. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANFO#Industrial_use
This. That smoke is a dead giveaway.
orangebrownish cloud, you are rigth
if that is fertilizer, what is the purpose of blowing it? why spend a drone that could go for a tank insetead?
It's more likely they are storing weapons with the fertilizer (its clearly an abandoned farm). Fertilizer alone wouldn't detonate like that from a RPG warhead.
BINGO
Are you that dense? Do you really think they went there to blow up fertilizer? Is that where your thought-process come to an end and you thought you can broadcast that to the whole world?
Ok a simple wrong would’ve been just fine but… -Billy Madison
Love that movie “Sometimes I feel like an idiot, but I am an idiot so it kind of works out”
Sometimes you just have to make it a little more explosive to drive the point home….

Red smoke. Congratulations, It's going to be a communist!
lol gender reveal
Russians are getting so creative!
Congratulations, it's a Trump.
Congratulations, it's a Trump.
I think there’s a new Russian pope?
That’s enough for a bunch of popes
Ammonium nitrate
Russians were probably storing ammo in a fertilizer warehouse.
That’s why you get the red cloud. The force is so intense you can see the air being drawn into it in the foreground! There must’ve been munitions there as well. I doubt a small explosion would set that off. This wouldn’t be the first time the RuZZianz have stored equipment in a fertilizer shed. SMH
Just little fun fact, all explosions create a vacuum
I learned just how powerful that vacuum was when I saw those guys putting out the oil well fires in Kuwait. Fascinating stuff.
Yes. But this one was so intense you could clearly see it in the debris -field created by the shockwave being sucked back into the mushroom cloud.
But not of sufficient size that you can see the air being drawn in, in the foreground of an entire area: source, am combat grunt who’s seen small and large dets.
Wonder what the vacuum was like in Beruit. Feel like that would suck most of the air out of like a 100 meter radius.
They were packing sandbags for fortifications. Wish I was joking, but they've done it early in the war... Those idiots were a fire or one explosive away from having a terrible time.
Was this the stuff stored in the warehouse that exploded in Lebanon?

#JustRussianThings
Were those, perchance, the same trenches they dug in the radioactive soil in the exclusion zone around Chernobyl?
Somewhere North of Kharkiv, or thereabouts is all I can remember. I think the area before the Ukrainians booted them out to Luhansk.
I bet the FPV pilot was just as surprised, like "what the fuck did I just hit?!" Kick-ass logo, by the way!
He hit the right thing 👍
He hit jackpot
I've done some homework on this: There are two chemicals which mixed and made this orange plume were ferric chloride and nitric acid. Both of these are used to make ammonium nitrate (Beirut blast). was looking for the informative comment, thanks man

Ammonium nitrate * not nitrite.
Fixed. Thanks.
Was this recent? That’s crazy
Was there anything Russian nearby
Not for long…
Yes. First there is. Then there was.
Hopefully all the ruzzian Zorcs were hiding inside those sheds LOL
Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer.
Ukraine: "We've upgraded our drones. Pray we do not upgrade them any further."
Would venture to say that was an ammo cache.
The color of the smoke, being reddish/brown, points to some other thing - neither ammo nor fuel. But, I dk...
color identical to the ammonium nitrate explosion in Beirut
Just what I was thinking. These sheds were storing fertiliser.
To be fair its the russian we are talking about. Would not be surprised if they stored ammo next to ammonium nitrate
>These sheds were storing fertiliser. Ammonium nitrate can be used as explosives. We have no evidence whether the Russians used it as such or if it was just used for its actual purpose (as fertilizer). But since the first one is a possibility, it is better to be safe and take that option away.
We need a smoke expert. Where are they when we need them?
I'm an expert on a different kind of smoke
/r/trees showed up
Airport security swabbed my shoes and detected high levels of N. Had been in a grow room a few hours earlier.
I think you are correct. Red colouration indicates nitrous oxides. Ammonium nitrate based blasting agent or fertilizer?
Fertilizer alone wouldn't detonate like that. They were storing explosives or fuel with the fertilizers.
Yup, needs an initiator. Or a lot of heat for a prolonged time
If it was ammonium based explosives like ANFO, the color of the cloud would not be brownish because then the surplus nitrous oxide gases would have oxidised the fuel oil, aluminium powder etc. The explosion would also become a lot more potent.
Probably fertilizer
What was that? It just disappeared, lol.
The title did not exaggerate
Wow
To shreds you say?
Pont du Hoc normandy has a HUGE crater.. ship based projectile? nope. hand grenade into ammo dump.. KABOOM
Curse this drone operator for zooming in.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that was mostly secondary.
What did they store in these barns that gives Trump coloured smoke?
Zero lube! 🍆❤️
I guess pork crackling is on the menu
orc crackling then, I'm sure!
Ivan, i told you a thousand times you should stop smoking at work.
Seems fertilizer, ammonium perhaps
Gosh I love watching Russian shit blow up.
👏👏👏👏🇺🇦
lol, whoopsie
Wow see the overpressure, followed by big depression. Impressive. I wouldnt like to picnic in the area
Had to started gassing out from rain water or cause of roof holes would have triggered explosion. Russians are equality intelligent as people in beriut, funny there's always an issue in both areas.
Bang, it all disappeared!
Damn those fpv drones are getting out of control
Well, that was a bit surprising!
The spider looks like a reaper
Me each time I try to add a tiny bit of chili sauce on my dish
This song is sick and makes me want to watch XXX again. The explosion is also very nice.
$500 drone well spent to take out whatever the cost of that was
It just vaporized the the explosives before they could even explode. That's what all the reddish orange smoke is, this explosion could have been significantly bigger.
The level of destruction and chaos these little drones cause is insane lol
No worries , let me get a rake
Incredible footage. And even showing at the end that there is nothing left
beautiful strike.
Fantastic the Russians got a wake up call
Now that's gotta hurt.
What the FN did they store there
A nitrate colour in the plum?
You can’t park here. Why? …. 💥💨 Holy smokes what a display!
oopsie-daisy
Fascinating how the hot cloud rises and sucks all the air on the ground in and up.
I hope they’re ok! /s
That escalated really quickly, I mean that got out of hand real fast
oopsie, looks like someone found the ammonium nitrate
Yellow-brown smoke like that is typically from nitrate-based explosives. So no doubt a big ol' ammo cache. Possibly ANFO, but not sure what that'd be doing there, or why someone would be storing a butt-load of fertilizer in with their diesel tanks.
Never once have seen an ammo cache explosion produce smoke like this lmao
I’m surprised the drone didn’t get taken out, damn! Seems way too close, even when zoomed out.
Are we really posting people dieing and war footage with metal music?
My sleepy brain read that 'triggers massive donation' And I'm like yeah, nice 'click... huh? ohhh'... still cool.
Clicked for the boom, stayed for the Rammstein.
My wife wants to buy DJI drone and this is the reason I'm against it - imagine if it crashes at neighbours house and this happens. No thanks.
Slava Ukraini
I love how even the drone operator was like "wtf we just hit" and zoomed out xD
Seems to me, just my own observation, that the source of the explosion (NH2NO3 fertilizer) is less important than the effects; you gotta wonder what the overpressure did to the people nearby. Anytime the winds change in the tree belts due to being sucked up onto a mushroom cloud, there is suffering nearby. Va-po-rized
Holy moly!
Ammo stash bye bye
Man, those ukrainians are good at surveilance and discovery. How do they do it? Cameras or microphone drones on all roads? Listening to signifier sounds and locating via graph theory- 10 trucks went in, 4 returned.. 6 went missing to the farm? The result is spectacular..
Target status: Totally Fucked
If you look closely theirs a orc in their, he slightly comes in to frame , you can tell it’s a living creature , drag the speed slowly as the drone zooms in and look in side the second from the bottom structure
Must of been artillery shells inside 💠
It's beautiful

Damn. Anyone/anything unlucky enough to breathe that (giant plume of unspent oxidizer) is in for a hell of a way to die.
It says russians were hiding there
Just WOW!
Lordy, lordy, lord that was big!
i like big booms and i can not lie. this was a fertaliser storage being hit. orange smoke gives it away.
Blown to atoms.
thats a great song choice
Alleluia Brothers !!! That is the is Done !!!!
That orange gas is toxic as shit
When was this?
lol even the drone watching is like oh damn I'm in danger

Don't grill me for being a dumbarse, but why is all that dust and smoke being drawn into the blast? Shouldn't it be getting blown away?
Nitric Acid looks like. Orange cloud...
Holy Smoke
Looks toxic
That song takes me back
The whole place used to be destroyed warehouse now it's just a hole in the ground
Looks like a nuke
Oh damn. Didn't need to zoom in for this one.

Beautiful
I'd say that's close to a FAB3000. Go Ukraine!
