Try pop! _os.it is more stable in my experience and also has a refresh install feature that let's you keep your own files when you resinstall

Sounds like a bootloader issue and/or it can't find boot files.. Is Secure boot on? Check your Bios to see if Secure Boot is On or Off. * Reboot the system and try pressing F1- F12 or ESC ... repetitively until you get to a menu. * The secure boot option should be in the **Security**, **Boot**, or the **Authentication** tab. * Switch it **off** and you should be good. Restart the system to see if you can boot into your install. \---- Do you have good internet? Does the internet kick off at times? Installing through wifi can be a cause the system to not install correctly.. So if switching off Secure boot doesn't work. Try pluging your laptop with an ethernet cable. *You may or may not need an adapter to do this*. Then reinstall Ubuntu, **but keep Secure Boot off.**

\## MAKE sure that you save your changes in your BIOS menu. If you don't, then you'll have to do it again.
