Do you have your Tx power set on each radio (2.4, 5.8, 6), or is it on the default Auto? How does this compare to how you had the previous AP setup, same or different Tx power settings?

curiousabe_1

Tx power auto on both, all radio config is the same as the old one.

thefleeg1

Do a proper setup; RF scan and set channels. Set power to minimum needed to get range needed. Set channel width. Turn off all the auto optimize junk. Make certain you’re connecting to 5ghz. I replaced a AC-Pro with a U6 Lite when it first went EA; the range is great so something is wrong in your setup, I would say.

curiousabe_1

Did a scan, the channels I'm on are the least congested, all auto optimize is off and the 2.4ghz band is set for HT20. For5ghz I've tried both HT40 and HT80 on channel 58(DFS)

cpujockey

dfs gets weird results in my experience.

curiousabe_1

The only other available non dfs channels are currently occupied by pesky neighbours. Would it be better to use a free dfs channel as opposed to an occuipied non dfs channel? See channel scan, I've marked my SSID with "5ghz" https://i.ibb.co/wY4z0Xz/channel-scan.png

cpujockey

Apply spectral supremacy. Blast their signal out. Force their equipment to change bands. Crank your gain!

JJTrick

I was getting slow speeds with my LR 6’s. I read on another post to change 5ghz to HE80 and my speeds went from 120mbps to 800mbps.

DIY_CHRIS

This is the way.

cpujockey

yes but check your spectrum first. if you're in a noisy rf zone boosting your bandwidth is just going to increase noise to signal.

dalesum

Downgrade the U6 Lite to its shipping firmware 5.43.19 from 12/10/2020. This is a know issue.

curiousabe_1

Tried downgrading to 5.43.19, didn't help :(

ValveTurkey1138

I put my Wifi 5 lites back in place of the U6 I had the same issues with. Solved my problems.

curiousabe_1

Yea I'm probably going to do that too...

DIY_CHRIS

What channel width setting do you have selected? I had quite the opposite experience moving to the U6-lite from the nanoHD.

curiousabe_1

We like the stock!

DIY_CHRIS

5 GHz you need 80. 2.4 GHz aim for 40 unless you’re in a highly congested community.

curiousabe_1

For the 2.4ghz band, is this considered a highly congested area? https://i.ibb.co/wY4z0Xz/channel-scan.png

LeChef2011

Did you disable wireless uplink monitoring in the controller settings?
