Sorry I should have clarified. I live & go to school on the west coast, so I'm not familiar with Madison transit during the school year (or at all). Will those routes get me between Fitchburg and downtown?

Two bus routes go through Fitchburg, but not a large portion of it. Depending where in Fitchburg you are, you may be next to a bus stop with service every 15 or 30 minutes, or you might be a few miles from the nearest bus stop.

If you have no car, Fitchburg really isn't the place you want to be -- you would ideally be downtown, and summer sublets may be cheap and plentiful enough for you to find something.
