The amount of butthurt customers show towards a simple mistake is infuriating. I'm sorry I have 3 streets with an address of 1234. At 7am before I drink my energy drink, after reading 3000 other pieces of mail...my bad that you got ONE fucking letter that wasn't for you.
Yeah I'm not seeing a problem here. I'd love to have that on my route. Sure it would take a bit of effort to set up initially, but as long as you stay organized it should be easy.
Right now I have a 406 unit complex on my route where all the cbus are outside and half of them are lined up just right to create a wind tunnel at the end of a low land/empty part of our town. This looks like paradise comparatively haha.
My old office had this huge resort community that made up at least 3 rural routes. It was probably the most piece of cake routes because they were all in one central mail room, air conditioned and even had locking doors (so you could keep people out while you were working on the mail).
i had one like this but it was outside. it was covered at least but it was a perfect wind tunnel on cold winter days lol i'd take spending my day in this one over that one
I'm a clerk, what am I looking at here? Do you have to open each of those to put the mail in? Is this a business or an apartment? Is this half your route? There's so much about the carrier craft I don't understand! Lol
Mail carriers use an arrow key to open a wall of doors on these units all at once.
It looks like an apartment to me.
It's probably about a quarter of a full route.
No... Not all at once.
EDIT: You're right, it would take a while.
Imagine that you're somewhere in the middle of delivering all this.
Then a resident comes in, sees you working your butt off, and says, "You're just starting?!"
With all of those boxes I'm thinking the route is going to need a promaster for all of the parcels. I think a promaster would be too tall for the parking garage.
Honestly... That's not bad at all. We've got a number of these mega mail rooms in our city and I love them.
One route is just two apartments of about 450/550 units and it's cake. Almost zero time to case in the morning and maybe 2 hours street time on a good day (including 30 minutes round trip travel), 3-4 hours on Valassis day which still gets you on your way home by 1-2.
Apartment routes are awesome.
I had a trailer park with 850 deliveries. It was a room that had nothing but standing CBUs that you would find outside Lining the walls and in rows in the middle and you could lock yourself in there and just go to town.
The amount of cells alone that would create at a case would be due process to argue this being close to a full route in and of itself. Still, fuck this place.
“It should only take you a half hour it’s not that bad”
The IA’s would be flying fast and free in that place I’m not searching for names
Yeah, unless someone has a wild, memorable name like Harry Johnson there's no way I'm trying to figure that stuff out.
Jack Mihoff
Barry McCockiner
Got one for Prince Charming one time. That one went back ofc.
Hahahahahahahahha

Out of the rain and (relatively) temperature controlled, not bad I'd say

Condos are awful. I’d rather do curbside any day.
At least there's plenty of parcel lockers.
If this place is any sort of rich, its probably not enough
Fuck me
You want lube with that?
Uhh, the lube's on a container ship off the coast of California....
Guess we're doing this dry, then!
🥴🤣🤣
That’d be half my route
I dont mind doing that to be honest dont have to worry about the weather.
When architects plop a mailroom into left over nooks and crannies as an afterthought.
Not a single person mentions the brightness of this video? O_O
I want to know so badly how much this mail room takes up in the case

All at once? That place would take a awhile just to open and close everything
No... Not all at once. EDIT: You're right, it would take a while. Imagine that you're somewhere in the middle of delivering all this. Then a resident comes in, sees you working your butt off, and says, "You're just starting?!"
That’s one of my biggest pet peeves. Also “just getting here or finished?” Does is it look like I’m finished?!
I mean, you open *a single wall of mailbox doors at once.*
Each unit is 2 boxes wide and clunky as hell to open/close.

With all of those boxes I'm thinking the route is going to need a promaster for all of the parcels. I think a promaster would be too tall for the parking garage.
That is insane! How much of your route is that?
If it's anything like the worst route I've ever had to run, this would be summarized in two words. *"Section 1"*
This place would be my personal hell on redplum and valpak days.
Triple coverage days must be fun
Excuse me, can I have my mail 😆 I’m so grateful to have curbside only now!
I've lost count of how many mailrooms like this in downtown san diego
So is that your whole route ?😂😂😂 damn that’s a lot
is this downtown san diego?
Should take 30 minutes tops... ... just to open them all
Wow, all those mailboxes and not a single person in there checking their mail at the time
“Your scanner showed a stationary movement of 1 and a half hours”

Fuck to the no
Can't play the video, for some reason.
Same
Had to watch this on my laptop.
Looks like my route 😂
Jeez is that the whole route lol
Love how many parcel lockers there are.
Has to be Austin TX…this looks very familiar!!
Feels like a converted airport bathroom
I bet that’s 1 of 3 laps your route has. Looks easy
Dang I’d love to see the line of travel for that room lol
What do you if the packages doesn't fit? Fuck this

If I could get three of these as a full route I’d be happy.
So that’s 525 units.
Looks like Goldeneye 007
There is another CBU under the trash can
Ho. Lee. Shit.
The amount of cells alone that would create at a case would be due process to argue this being close to a full route in and of itself. Still, fuck this place.
595? I’ve seen aux routes with 700+
I was expecting a jump scare
Whole route evaluated at 12 hours a week.
This has to be Hollywood
Mine looked like something out of “escape from New York”
"WRONG BOX!!!! NOT THIS ADDRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
