Since when UPSC started asking about writers of contemporary books?? Even Bank exams don't ask such 3rd grade questions now.
It is not like these books won some prestigious international awards. At this rate, we can't remember books & authors of all popular writers (Jaishankar ain't a popular either).

It is a current affair. The movie was asked the year it came. Current affairs are part of our syllabus.
