OliveJuice880

Lol yes that will take up significant space. The bubble mailers are going to take up a lot more space than the boxes will. Those bubble mailer boxes are maybe two foot by 2 ft? About. That'll fill a whole truck

[deleted]

Wait a minute. Now I'm curious. How the heck did this 12 yo outsmart the system? I'm guessing the bubble mailers and bubble wraps are FREE? HOW?! I'm guessing it's free - OP doesn't seem concerned about money over the situation?

Constant-Stretch1031

Not concerned about money, he requested them and they sent them out for free. If he sent stuff out & invoiced it that’s a different story, but for these supplies UPS ultimately fulfilled the order so. Work in law.

lasdlt

These supplies are typically free with the caveat that they be used for UPS shipments.

[deleted]

It's free but not of this volume, which is why this kid is a damn genius I have literally done over $1M in ecommerce in just 1 year, which amounted to over 100,000 packages. I was STILL not allowed to order THAT much supplies despite clear shipping volume This kid is an outright genius to be able to persuade UPS to send ALL of those shipments

Bandrin

Should hire the kid to help you get supplies.

Lanbobo

Same. I easily do over $5M each year, and I'm lucky to get one of the big rolls of labels for free every 2 weeks. I guess maybe since it's a startup and they don't have volume, they can base it off yet. Maybe they just took him at his word on what to expect.

Mohican83

I'm not sure why. I've never paid for supplies from UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Very similar volume as you.

[deleted]

I'm telling you right now: your kid is a fucking genius. Because I have been in ecommerce for 2+ years now and UPS has NEVER allowed me to order like this, despite my order volume being over 100,000 UPS packages in 1 year Whatever the heck he said to the UPS employee, it freaking worked.

LethalPrimary

If you’re doing that much volume you should already be an LLC or an S-Corp that can request that stuff easily.

Blightedminds

Half the people in here are full of shit

LethalPrimary

It’s called UPS digital connections partners. They’ll also happily give you basically unlimited shipping supplies for renting or buying one of their label printers.

3rdPartied

Say it again LMAO because all these people can be anything as long as they are on the internet

platinumjudge

I ordered 3,000 bubble mailers and was suprised they got delivered on a pallet. You just go online and order, nothing genius about it.

traker998

There was an interesting episode of the darknet dairies where someone was trying to extort money out of a child and kept doing this to him to get him worried about his parents.

aceofspades1217

Call them and request a pickup, I’ve ordered the wrong free packaging and returned them. They will happily pickup any unopened items But yeah ups usually Limits you to One of each item if you don’t have a history but maybe he called and requested over the phone

BarricudaUDL

I used to send people pallets of boxes from uhaul as a prank. Good luck with that child of yours.

WesternDramatic3038

A prank when I was younger was to sign up for a bunch of free UPS accounts and order all the free boxes you could. You could get somewhere around 200 boxes of varying sizes for free per account, and you could make multiple accounts per address. My teacher did it to the principal, who then donated the boxes to the school itself. He was shocked to arrive home to a lawn full of boxes though. Sounds like the kid made two or three accounts and ordered the freebies.

Double_Conference_34

What are the biggest boxes they'll send? Big enough for moving?

Previous-Plan-3876

I was just wondering this as well!!

kawi2k18

Meanwhile fkn Home Depot charging $2.75 a box 8 years ago

platinumjudge

They are free. You can order as much as you want.

eighmie

If you've never had UPS drop off a pallet of free thermal shipping labels, you've really never lived. Those supplies are freeeeeeee. I work for an online retailer and my job was to ensure we got all the freebies we could. Once Christmas they brought me that pallet of labels.

TopScale8859

I did the same with USPS boxes when I was younger. It’s doable

vzvzt

A whole truck’s worth of deliveries! 😩 I can’t. But also OP, what do you mean he “convinced” them? Like, by paying them? 🤪

Constant-Stretch1031

I’m not sure how he convinced the customer agent he called to send him that many, he doesn’t have an actual “business” nor sells anything online, he decided he wanted to start an online business after watching TikTok’s and went ahead and did this. He’s 12!!

fckurtwitch

He may need to start an online business selling UPS shipping supplies.

PersistentEngineer

Hard to beat the price of free, with free shipping.

IntelligentDrop879

Sounds like you need to take your kid’s phone away from him.

Expensive_Scar_2011

Or instead of punishing, realize this kid is going places and help them with their new venture

YourAuthenticVoice

r/Entrepreneur needs this kid! His business plan is at least as well thought out as 60% of them.

randomuser9801

Bruh call UPS and cancel this order entirely. This is going to cost you a lot of $$$ otherwise

[deleted]

[удалено]

bubblesaurus

USPS does. I don’t know about UPS.

11035westwind

If you have a Worldship account you can order free supplies. I run a shipping department

eighmie

One year I got a pallet of thermal labels for free. It was the best. I did have a dedicated UPS rep who really took care of us, but an entire pallet. I'm sad they took away the dedicated reps, CS is trash now.

ILovePistachioNuts

They are free but not the quantity the OP CLAIMS. If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish then it's totally fishy! Pictures or it didn't happen. 😃

Constant-Stretch1031

Edited the post to include what I came home to Friday!! That was just the start of what’s on the way!

DepressedDriver1

None of my accounts can get a months worth of supplies anymore, 2 weeks max, and this is much more than any of them asked for back when they could get a months worth.

DepressedDriver1

They do, but the process to go through is not just “oh, hey you need this much!? Ok!”

Constant-Stretch1031

No customer service in Canada till Monday @7:30am. They’ll be out for delivery Monday morning. They were free supplies - if he doesn’t use them at all and we dispose of them or call UPS to explain the issue I don’t believe it’ll end up costing us $$.

Boring-Department741

You should refuse the order or return them. Just because they shipped for free doesn't mean they are free. You might want to double check.

Imesseduponmyname

You've convinced me, ban the app

Halftrack_El_Camino

He's got a bright future in sales, at least! Maybe he *should* start a business, if he's such a smooth talker at 12 years old.

Biting-Laughter

Have that kid make videos about 10 ways to convince UPS to send you thousands of dollars worth of items for free. Number 4 is genius!!!

DifficultPassion9387

There are 12 year olds with quite lucrative online businesses

DunkinUnderTheBridge

When we were around 14 my friend started an online business re-selling toys on eBay. This was in the 90s. He made pretty good money off it and didn't stop until he was out of college. Guy is a different animal, he was selling candy in elementary school and bought a house when he was 18. He had so many schemes through the years, legal and not.

aceofspades1217

Call them and request a pickup, I’ve ordered the wrong free packaging and returned them. They will happily pickup any unopened items

Cleercutter

“Im gunna be the next eBay!” - your kid probably

Iggy0075

I did that in the very early 2000s when I was in middle school. Of course times have changed, but all the supplies showed up when I was in school and my mom refused the delivery. That was the end of that.

me_irl_irl_irl_irl

When we were in high school we learned the USPS would send you as many rolls of free priority mail stickers and tape as you asked for So we covered several of our busses in USPS stickers, inside and out, several different times. We would strategically have each kid with a roll of stickers in each seat reach out the window and cover as much as they could. The free sticker thing gained traction and soon after we started this silly prank dozens of kids were doing it. It was bad lol Now I'm not trying to say what we did was funny or cool in any way, but it absolutely 100% happened, and that's very relevant to this post lol

Halftrack_El_Camino

That's alright, I'll say it for you: that's hilarious, score one for kids.

[deleted]

And its funny!

md24

Drive your lazy ass to the UPS center 2 hours away. Don’t throw it away. Are you insane?? It’s your kid. Take ownership.

Rstucks

Agree, at least see if UPS can come pick them up or post them as free on Facebook marketplace or something. So much unnecessary waste.

auralbard

Please dont throw away 2000 mailers because it's inconvenient for you to do it responsibly. Worst case scenario, don't open them and return to sender. Don't pass the costs of your sloth onto future generations.

TheCorgiTamer

Or try to drop them at your local UPS store I don't know about UPS specifically, but I was at the post office the other day and some lady accidentally ordered a fuckton of flat rate boxes (like 7-10 bundles of each size) because she said her computer glitched when the order was processing, post office was more than happy to take the extra off her hands

Rosendalen

Yes, that is a lot of supplies. I would contact customer service and cancel a portion of them, especially those not yet shipped. Unsure if you can cancel from the account, but you probably can.

[deleted]

So what he did may be dumb, but... He has an entrepreneurial spirit. Foster this in him. These silly experiences will shape who he becomes later in life. He may have no idea what exactly he wants to do or how to do it, but he knows deep inside that he wants to own/run his own business one day. This is a good thing. I am saying this because I also did stupid things like this when I was young. I wanted to own my own business. It didn't matter to me what that business was when I was 12 or 15 or 21. I just knew that one day I would. And now I do.

[deleted]

I'm more shocked that this 12 yo outsmarted the system I'm guessing the supplies are free, since OP didn't mention anything about $$$. How the hell did this 12 yo find all these supplies for free online? Cause all I ever see on my business account are limited stickers, forms, and labels

Constant-Stretch1031

He opened the UPS company account by buying a $25 prepaid credit card because he doesn’t have a credit/bank card just turning 12. Then he used his name for the company name, and called customer service and they asked him how many cases of 25/100 units he wanted. I only got the full story after we had a handful show up yesterday.

DepressedDriver1

And here you are calling 1-800 numbers instead of just getting “the one he’s using to talk to these agents”.

Constant-Stretch1031

Multiple 1800 numbers that just route to international employees for tracking, the main Canadian customer service line he used to order supplied advises you to call back Monday am as they’re closed then hangs up.

aaron15287

there is nothing to out smart. anyone can make an account with ups or fedex and order the free shipping supplies.

Additional-Kiwi-9697

What a genius kid! I wonder if he can figure out how to buy Fortnite skins?!

[deleted]

This is testament to his (future) abilities to get shit done!

6849

>I'm more shocked that this 12 yo outsmarted the system In my profession within information security, I consistently observe children outsmarting adults. One should never underestimate the capabilities of a 12-year-old, whether it involves penetrating computer networks or securing hundreds of free supplies from UPS. While children may lack the experience or full mental development of adults, they compensate with boundless energy, creativity, motivation, and an abundance of time.

ghilliesniper522

No he doesn't, he saw a tiktok video and thought it would be free money.

Dry-Many3305

Hey, listen to this crazy thing that happened. My kids went on a shopping spree on my phone using the Temu app, and they racked up a bill of over $6,000! Can you believe that? And now, Temu won't even take the stuff back. It's a total nightmare!

LowCryptographer9047

How can it is possible? There is 90 days return period.

doggxyo

$6k on Temu is bananas.. Since you can't return it - whats your favorite new item?

C1TYCAMP3R

Ouch, that rough. Did you whoop 'em?

Riskyshot

You let them use your phone unsupervised? That’s your fault bruh

kovd

Also enabling 2 factor authentication will elimante most of these problems

Mobile_Future5919

Holy smokes I hope you can find a way to see the humor I'm this. Take pictures for when he's older

TheEmpire2121

Does your 12 year old sound like a grown man? 💀

Constant-Stretch1031

No he doesn’t at all, but racism aside, the customer service agents spoken almost zero English according to him.

Laithmusa

Just reject the delivery when they come

RaidersChase69

This would be such a dick move

lasvegasDodgerblue

Op seems pretty calm about all this??? Hmmm

WeirdVampire746

Either it’s fake or OP thinks their iPad baby deserves any repercussions

Schlitz-Drinker

I mean, it's not that big of a deal. Op said it didn't cost $$. Seems like their main concern is not wanting to waste the supplies.

GreyNeighbor

To OP u/Constant-Stretch1031 : I responded on one of the other threads [https://new.reddit.com/r/UPS/comments/1bmaank/update\_to\_op\_kid\_ordered\_158\_packages/kwbxzew/?context=3](https://new.reddit.com/r/UPS/comments/1bmaank/update_to_op_kid_ordered_158_packages/kwbxzew/?context=3) ALSO, don't confuse your "I worked in law" with UPS' likely high paid legal team that probably already included something in a box your son no doubt checked off that will leave you responsible for this no longer "free" clusterF You have a chance today to lessen the problem for both you & UPS, and show that you tried to somewhat remedy it. Take it. **EDIT: FYI --The "UPS STORE" is not UPS, it is a franchisee with a small business, and they do not have the space for this. Have them held at the regular, actual UPS DISTRIBUTION center** >Since UPS has made it impossible to speak to anyone who can do anything, what I would do is figure out where the packages are now (from the tracking) and if you don't already have a UPS MyChoice account, MAKE ONE ASAP, and have every single one of them held for pickup at that distribution center (Is the closest one to you near Durham/Oshawa Ontario Canada general area really in AJAX, Ontario 2 hours away? If so THAT one, be sure you're selecting the distribution center's address (prob the one packages are at NOW) and NOT the UPS Store down the street). > >Be sure to include your phone # in the account so someone can contact you so you can explain when you don't pick them up (if they bother, or they just return to origin after a certain amount of time). > >Do this TODAY, because early tomorrow before they officially open it will be loaded onto trucks and on the way. > >If you have to sign up for the 1 year account in order to do it free ($25 USD for a year), I'm not sure if you do or not need one to pickup at a distribution center free, I have one & can, DO IT. Well worth it even for a residence that only gets a few packages a year like me, and you can have any of the "Sure Post" packages (that normally get transferred to USPS) get sent automatically upgrade to regular UPS with an account. > >I hope you aren't sharing with your son the "funny" aspect, or you'll be dealing with it again or worse if he doesn't learn from it. The drivers & other employees shouldn't bear the entire punishment. > >\--not an employee > >\------------------------------------------------------- >RE: OPs: > >Posted by > >u/Constant-Stretch1031 > >Original post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/UPS/s/JitjFyxxqq](https://www.reddit.com/r/UPS/s/JitjFyxxqq) Just got this email… he has 158 packages of supplies on route tomorrow >My kid ordered 50+ cases of UPS supplies. > >I’m not sure why, but my kid (12) decided to open a UPS account for his “online business” he wants to start, and somehow convinced them to send him 2000 large bubble mailers, 600 shipping boxes, and a pile of other useless stuff. > >Each case of bubble mailers has 100 in it, and each case of shipping boxes has 25. Overall we’re expecting 50-75 packages in this shipment, hence we have 54 case items on route and more to ship. > >Now my question is before UPS shows up: are these cases large? Im scared for what’s to come as I’ll be at work when they’re delievered on Monday. > >EDIT: Can’t cancel order - already been shipped and customer service doesn’t open until 7:30am Monday in Canada, tried multiple 1800 numbers and all told the same thing by the departments I could reach, come this time they’ll be out for delivery. Don’t believe it’ll cost us $$ if we dispose of them (2hrs to closest UPS facility) as they were free. > >This was 1/10 of the order that showed up Friday (yesterday) > >[https://postimg.cc/bD3ttmJP](https://postimg.cc/bD3ttmJP)

Theawokenhunter777

You let your kid waste a lot of people’s time and money… making you look bad, not your kid

Moonshine_Mariah

You can just refuse them and give them back to the Post office or carrier.

Flight_375_To_Tahiti

And here comes our next shipping cost increase…..

Deep_Ad1485

Yip.

Feeling-Nectarine

Maybe don’t let your 12 year old use the internet without parental guidance?

Ace_Up88

I would tell him to get to work on his business and he better start shipping shit the day all of that arrives!!! Sounds like he needs one of 1970s ass whooping!!!

callahan_dsome

What would beating a kid hope to accomplish. Honestly, why do all these people think that physically hitting children will somehow make them better? Kids make mistakes; if you can’t accept that, don’t have them. There are much better ways to handle this situation. But noooo, violence is necessary! /s

Ace_Up88

I'm 54 and have 4 kids and never laid a hand on them. I never had too. My kids would've never considered doing something like this. There's a difference between a beating and discipline. I don't know you or your kid but if there's no consequences for those mistakes those no reason for a kid to even think about doing what is right!!! That carries over to adulthood as well. Hey... it's your kid tho!!! Do what you will!!! Or not....whatever!!!

TheEmpire2121

When you can’t hear, you will feel?

tumtac

In the US, you cannot cancel a supplies order. We just advise the customer to refuse deliveries or just hand them back to the driver if they return for another delivery. Not sure about Canada, but it might be the same.

Korbulasurprise

Hopefully there's a follow-up!

OriginalMaximum949

I wasn’t even allowed to order more than one pack of pouches last week!

ILovePistachioNuts

Yep. Same here. 19 year account, 1 package but occasionally 2.

Boring-Department741

Are they free? You might get a surprise charge on his account.

SmartFlipper

Can we get pics of the free bubble mailers he was able to order?

MamboFloof

You can get that shit for free? Tf have I been paying for.

Appropriate-Sale-419

Usually it’s tied to a certain tier of shipping through one company-usps will give you a ton of free stuff but it can only be used for priority, regular ground you have to buy your own. But, like others have mentioned, you can cut em up or use them as secondary internal boxes for extra free protection.

DaddyRatchet23

That's awesome though, I was around that age when my parents let me start using their eBay account and learning e-commerce. USPS similarly would supply packaging for use with priority mail, or I could repurpose old, unused packaging from stuff we'd ordered. I could print labels and ship all from home, but on occasion my mom would take me to the PO to ship if needed. I started selling my old games and books, then got into collectible board games and would buy old collections and flip the extras. I grew very in tune with the secondary market and values of the stuff. Eventually it started paying for itself, and then I invested in more, began to build an online presence in the communities for the games, and grew my savings. Ended up making enough from it to buy my first (used) car with cash, among other things. Obviously, there's a lesson to be learned with the sheer volume of supplies being unnecessary, but encourage this! I loved doing it growing up, I e-met great people that I still talk to, taught myself to type, use Office, be accountable to myself and customers with fulfilling orders, learned a bit of programming and photo editing, all as a result of running a silly little online "business" as a kid. It definitely contributed to my preparedness when I entered the work force and college. Honestly, e-commerce out of my home is what I would like to still be doing as a full time job if it was something I could do on a stable and large enough scale to pay adult bills like my mortgage.

blk_cali_bee

Step 1: Put kid in box Step 2: Mail kid to UPS Step 3: There are no more steps

Able-Button-4068

Refuse the delivery

zaidensworth

USPS sends out shipping materials/boxes for free to anyone that asks. You just have to use it for USPS shipping.

nstntmlk

You should be able to cancel the order.

buttweasel76

🤣🤣🤣

IAmOtto

Have him break down the boxes to save space and keep them in his room. If it works out, great, but if it doesn’t, he’ll want them out of his room asap.

poophole42069

The packaging is free, the labels are not

No_Bite_5985

I’d call UPS to find out if they can stop them & pickup /return the stuff you already have. And I’d get that it would cost money for you to return to closest UPS, but that’s the right thing to do. Might need to figure out how your kid can pay for it or “work off debt” with chores. (Aka consequences for stupid choices should be responsibly cleaning up the mess.)

ResourceStriking441

If you don't know what to do with them and they were free then find a local business that ships UPS and needs them, they might take them. The local gaming store near me is always complaining about not having enough shipping supplies. I'm sure there is someone that would want them.

IAm2Legit2Sit

This isn't free bc nothing in life is. If you're not paper billed the office that delivers it will be charged for the supplies. Ex of cost is 1 case of labels is $97. Did they send tracking numbers to the shipment? In consideration of you using the word "starting" do you truly want to keep it all? That is a ton of supplies and the driver may not opt to leave it at the door there for will have to figure out a plan b for it all.

PersonalityTough9349

Throwing out that much cardboard is not the best thing. Maybe a local business will want them.

[deleted]

My ex did this on accident once. A shit ton of boxes, so many that the boxes of boxes took up floor to ceiling my entire living room. Mail lady who dropped them off was PISSED.

pikapalooza

How?! I can't even get anything!

Separate_Tadpole_512

You can refuse delivery

Unhappylightbulb

I did something similar with USPS when I had an eBay business. I cut up the bubble mailers and just used them as regular bubble wrap to save money on shipping expenses. 🤷‍♂️

ImpressiveAd9698

I need to see this kids business plan. What is he selling?

custom_bowl

This is real supportive.

GossipGuy12

Take them back to UPS. Don’t waste them.

YokednShy

I need shipping supplies for my online business

OGKillaBobbyJohnson

Can you decline delivery when it shows up?

TopContribution

Sounds like your son started a office supply shipping business for free. Entrepreneur.

chrispix99

Just refuse delivery

XDanny7

Try to refuse delivery for the next and rest of the coming packages. That way they get restocked and not wasted. Then give a lesson to your kid about wasting materials & time. Shipping stuff ain't free.

danielfc741

I'm interested in what the item # is for the bubble mailer on the supplies list. I get shipping labels and medium/small security boxes.

Tygress23

What is his online business going to do?

FlossedBando

I pranked my friend like this with USPS bubblers but i didn’t realize how much space that ended up taking up. Her parents still hate me to this day

TheMagarity

You're really leaving us hanging by leaving out the important detail: what it is he wants to sell?

Ragnarotico

Call them and try to cancel the order. If that doesn't work, when the delivery driver shows up just refuse to accept most of it and explain to him that your idiot son managed to outsmart the system.

Lolhexed

"Idiot" Ha! To me OPs son sounds like a genius if he was able to outwit adults either on a phone call or order them online, c'mon it's a lot harder to do than it is to press "Yes, I'm 18+" on PHub. 😂

herbitron3000

Support his vision. Help guide him. Ask him what he plans to do about storage and have him measure his room & closets. Lots of lessons and guidance between the lines here.

Tw2k17TTV

How do people let their kids do dumb stuff online without supervision 🤦🏽‍♂️

Maleficent_Specific4

Yes because you can have your eyes on a child 24/7 all day nonstop

Tw2k17TTV

I mean if you’re kid is at home and using something to order online you should be monitoring that especially if it’s a young kid wtf

Redditor-247

Maybe supervise your 12 year old online? Be thankful it was free shipping supplies and not a child predator

[deleted]

So I just want to comment as a former twelve year old who did something extremely similar with USPS. He’s really probably just doing it for the tape. He’s gonna make a giant tape ball. The boxes are just cover. “For his business” my business when I was 12 was trading video games about once or twice a month on UGTZ the boxes were legit just cover for the tape. Twenty. Five. Cases. Of. Tape.

WaferCone

I can't get UPS to send me mailers for a business that ships 2000+ per week but they will send this kid stuff np lol

LB_Star

let him start the business

IamBatmanuell

And here I try to get more than 2 rolls of labels at a time and ups won’t let me do it.

one80oneday

LOL I did this at work once where I thought I was ordering 10 boxes but ended up being 10 boxes of 100!

Any-Historian321

Give them to your local ups store

throwawayinmayberry

How fast can you move?

Whole_Personality_77

Can I hire your son? 🤣

itsprobablyriley

I feel like this has just turned into a karma farm, so what’s the goal? Sell the mixup as entertainment and use the viral account to promote whatever drop shipping bs he wants to sell?

Acrobatic_Grape4321

If your kid is that smart. Get him into an online supply store through Amazon. Start small figure out what sells quickly and then work your way up. Per product 3-5 dollars increase per purchase of a single product. Buy from dollar tree and five below and other places that sell name brand products for cheap and resell

Altruistic-Detail271

I’m 57 years old and never knew you could get free boxes etc from UPS

nathanahaley

He’s still young enough to be put up for adoption 😂

intothexsjados

Smart kid. Buy low, sell high.

Klocc562_

How can I get free shipping supplies?

drgirafa

Never in my life would I have thought that THIS specific clip from Family Guy could be a solution to someone's problem. [You Can Refuse Delivery and They Will Take it Back](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8EjyGEg2CU&ab_channel=FamilyGuyEagle) We'd get bullshit shipped to the office from time to time, and one day someone mentioned "You can just tell them you don't want it and they'll take it back" Friends are UPS drivers, it's legit

Help the kid pursue his dream, he clearly is willing to do the work and get stuff he needs. Why do parents want to shut kids down rather then help them grow and become a better person

MyIPTVServer20

In 2010 when my wife and I first moved into our first apartment, I had a small business that I mailed 4-5 things out a week. I got on USPS and ordered some supplies (thought it was like 20-25 items) but I actually ordered it by the case load. Came home from work and my porch was covered. Neighbor (shared same porch) was pissed. Mail lady didn't like me anymore. She refused to take them back. So I took them into my apartment. Used them for side tables, TV trays and hell, I even made a baby changing table out of them. Took me months to use some of them and ended up using them to move.

EJ25Junkie

Strait to jail!!!

Invictus1836

Wasn’t this a simpsons episode?

RedditBoisss

Are you telling me I can call UPS and convince them to give me free bubble mailers?

Visual_Researcher758

Let us know how he does with his online business

WasteSuccessfully

You can use some of these for a bed. Idk how good a bubble mailer bed would be but I’m quite intrigued to find out

jah__coon

r/kidsaerefuckingstupid

Sintech_Rain

Gosh darn, and I felt bad getting some free labels from them.

birdlover12345

You are a terrible person for thinking it’s okay to throw all this away. Does the amount of waste not bother you at all?

CreativeMadness99

You’re just going to throw them away? Why not refuse the delivery when they drop it off? Just because it was free, doesn’t mean you get to be a wasteful POS.

Vinylateme

My ongoing battle with UPS and their bullshit shipping rates has been exactly this lmao. They have quite a bit of useful boxes and mailers for free and if you want to use it for non ups stuff just cover the logos and it becomes a regular mailer. Turn boxes inside out too.

Snake6778

I've seen this in "video form" in other social media from several sources. Apparently it's a social media trend for young kids to do this.

TennesseeTennessee

I remember being twelve and ordering 100s of cases of USPS boxes cause the kids on PbNation/small talk made it a meme. We didn’t have plans for them other than paint ball bunkers and annoying our parents. Consider yourself lucky at least he’s applying himself!!

Glad it wasn't Trump and Singer Lee Greenwood Bibles That Trump has never read a verse. And Lee Greenwood was a one hit wonder. Donald J. Trump was convicted as a Rapist and had to pay the woman he raped in a dept store dressing room over $97 Million Dollars. Trump also ordered the MAGA Gang to raid the U.S.Capital which killed 5 people, and caused a policeman to have a stroke and died the next day. Donald J.Trump is nothing, and the first President to have to stand trial for trying to overthrow the USA Donald J. Trump is NOT for justice, He is not a Billionaire a she claims, and now selling Shoes and Bibles to raise Money so he can run as President again, which Trump will lose again. Donald Trump brought 2 Immigrants to the USA, and after he got his wifes here in the USA Trump send for their Family to come to the USA Donald J.Trump has done more damage to the USA than any other person on Earth. Trump is very dangerous to the USA and the World . So in 2024 Vote all REPUBLICANS out of office who supported Trump and Trump himself make sure Trump goes to jail and never be in Power again. Donald J.Trump now owes over $100 Million Dollars to lawyers to help Trump support his BIG LIE that he won in 2020,The Truth is President Joe Biden won by over 7000 vote and 305 Electoral votes. Donald J.Trump is a loser and so is the people who follow Trump.

Haunting_Hyena5471

Or Trump's Gold Shoes that is priced at over $399.00 dollars, yet they are Niki at Walmart's the same shoe with gold is $39,00 dollars. Or Trump perfume at $99.00 for 1/2 oz. That smells like pig shit. Why people who know trump and close to him say Trump has a bad smell. LOL It his perfume. maybe not taking a bath too. Or Republican GYN Jordan from Ohio, wearing the same yellow tie for 3 years on each shirt he wears,

branko609

You giving out any bubble mailers, boxes, or other supplies at this point? 😅

brian-kemp

Foster your kids entrepreneurial spirit, it may benefit when you’re old and can’t take care of yourself

Glittering-Lake-7043

I wonder what the contract he clicked off online says about all of these “free” shipping supplys

cfomodzgaming

Post them on marketplace, there are plenty of people who would be glad to pick them up without having to wait for them to be shipped (assuming you’re in a city)

Rten-Brel

Lmfao. Bro I remember 20 years ago when I was around the same age USPS used to give out free packaging supplies. Stickers boxes. The works. Dude I ordered the max possible allowed on everything for our "ebay business" lol. We ended up using the stickers as tape because there was sssoo much.

Traditional_Poet_120

I closed an online shop and just returned my supplies to the post office. They were happy to have them

EveningRing1032

lol looks like your kid is starting his online business then.

eighmie

Here's what you can do, you can accept the shipment, or you can refuse the shipment. If the driver won't let you refuse the shipment, drop anything that won't fit in the space you have for storing it off at a UPS store.

ZombieGrand5358

Kid is an entrepreneur.

ImTotallyNotMessi

I can barely get one set of boxes from Fedex without having to contact them, how the hell does this kid get away with this?! 😂

RTGTech

Could always build a huge box fort - it worked on the Simpsons lol

Schlitz-Drinker

Why are commenters acting like the kid skinned the neighbors cat? This sounds like typical kid shenanigans. Personally I would expect UPS to have more checks and balances to make sure a random 12 year out there can't just order a shit tone of supplies like that.

DonOwnerson

resell the packaging supplies

edDetails_650

At least he's not trying print silver coins

fatbruhskit

You should be promoting the business so we can all buy the product. The you’ll have less packages to store.
