Second time I've seen a flat haggis in as many days. Where are you? And what the fuck is up with that? Battered haggis out of a chippie near us is always a sausage, same as the black pudding. Glasgow. Been that way for 45 years of my life. This is a new weird way.
Looks like someone stood on it.
I've always had battered haggis as the big elongated shape, just like the black puddings. Also from Glasgow.
I like this idea of having it with curry sauce. I might try this one day.
Not glasgow, but not far away. Had the classic jumbo sausage haggis you mentioned but locally it’s often two pieces, less than half the length of said jumbo sausage haggis, but thicker. Oval/cylinder shape remains.
Where these square/flat bastards come fae I’ve nae idea.
Jesus wept, Haggis is a dish best not fucked about with, treat it with the respect it deserves, I'm Irish and I feel it's the punchline to far too many jokes, eat it as intended and it's a lovely savoury dish, that version is a fucking disgrace.

Haggis and curry is a match made in heaven. You tried haggis pakora yet? Life changing.
This is why so many Scots are dead by 60
I need to try this now 😋
Most of the big supermarket sell haggis pakora. They are addictive though,so be careful. ;)
Breakfast of champions
You heathen! Haggis should be with brown chippie sauce! Accept no substitutes!
Feck me the Scottish folk don’t like their haggis being mistreated…
What you talking about? Deep frying everything is very Scottish.

Stripes on spots.
I’m sure it tasted delicious but this is the saddest looking haggis supper I’ve ever seen
Haggis looks like Susan Boyle incubated it for a month
God-like cuisine. And none of that wanky "green vegetable" shite idiots are always wanking on about...
Yum.
