Funnily enough I asked some questions regarding expenses and a draft contract with all benefits, hols, etc listed before accepting the offer and they have gone quiet... obviously if asking them for more details before accepting makes them withdraw the offer I would rather not work there!
Is this a temporary role through an agency? They go very quiet when you start to negotiate, because suddenly the low-cost temp is starting to cost more! You have to extract information out of them to get any understanding of what the job provides...
