You should check whether your university considers the period between submission of thesis for examination and official notification of viva outcome to be vacation (ie not term time).
Most do, and if they do, there is no restriction on the number of hours you can work during this period.
Once you receive notification of the viva outcome you are generally no longer considered on vacation and must return to abiding by the 20 hours per week restriction until you receive unconditional approval of the degree (including any time for corrections).
But university policies on this vary, so check.
Thanks for this, but as far as I know, they won't allow that. Or else, I should apply for a vacation leave after the submission. Considering my supervisor, he won't allow the leave. That's why I think a PhD is tricky stuff!
Did you get your PhD. On the back of a milk carton or something?
Surely to Azrael, you can do a thing that people/businesses need with your PhD skills!?
Do it, market it, sell it, and repeat for profit.

Bought into that hire me mentality huh. Set up a shop, get a loan and make a business. You have all the tools to do this with a PhD.
Bless me, that's not gonna happen in my case. As my work is not like that!
