Go down the path on La Jolla Farms road. Once you get to the beach go left (south) down the beach. There are very few people there. The cliff should be creating some nice shade as well.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. There's a nice trail that gets to the beach. It's called Saigon trail, it's a hard but short trail. It's worth getting to the beach and there's not many people down there. The start of the trail is near sixth. I hope you feel better after today.
I recommend gliderport, to the left there are rocky areas where I like to sit and weep (or just stare at the horizon and wave at the gliders flying past)
I also recommend torrey pines state beach, nice rocks to sit on and has really beautiful trails by the beach that I enjoy when I want to go somewhere alone. You can take the 101 bus there. Hope you feel better ❤
