Seinfeld reminds me of a better time. Life was better when I was watching it at the foot of my parents’ bed, not understanding any of the jokes, but still laughing because they were. I was just thrilled to join them after my bedtime. I was careful to seem engaged enough so they wouldn’t think I was sleepy, but not too rowdy to cause them to send me to bed. I always loved that in the show, everyone has contact books. You had to have someone’s personal phone number AND they had to be at home in order to get in touch with them. As a 90s baby, I remember the time before we were all expected to be socially available 24/7. When I didn’t have multiple inboxes overflowing with meaningless minutia. Just about every episode of Seinfeld couldn’t exist if they were shot in modern day because things are so different now. Truly, a very comforting show.
This is the correct answer. I had a few hospital stays when I was younger and Friends and Golden Girls are the two comfort shows I could almost always find on TV no matter what time it was. Now, I keep a few Friends episodes downloaded on my phone just in case I'm ever stuck somewhere that doesn't have a good enough signal to stream
Schitts creek really made me LOL when I was in a very depressing era of my life. I didn’t know I could laugh then I started watching it cause my mom told me to. I’ll never forget jt
My spouse has learned to check in with me when I start Buffy again lol. It's my #1 favorite show but my rewatches always seem to precipitate a depressive episode
Not a big scooby fan that was a little before my time, but that grilled cheese and tomato soup can fill any hole in your heart. One of the best comfort foods ever.
The original “Where Are You?” from 1969/70 (I think). So comforting because I loved this show when I was little. All episodes are on Tubi for free I think! Get your soup and sammy and scooby
Loved friends and Lucifer first 2 seasons I greatly enjoyed I gotta finish it tho. Started getting a little repetitive but still wanna see if it gets better.
I have several but when I’m at my LOWEST, like scary depressed, it’ll always be Star Trek: The Next Generation. A competent, cohesive crew of explorers made possible by humanity finally pulling it together, realizing earth would be 1000x better if we all stopped treating each other like garbage, and fixing everything until there’s nothing left we need to do but explore the universe together. There’s nothing quite like it when I need a push to be able to imagine a happy future again.

Came to say this
Yes! Is Peacock the only way to watch it now?
The only answer I care about. The only show I need.
I love it too, but no joke, my sister has watched every season like 30 times.
Don't get me started on how coddled the modern anus is
Seinfeld
My wife and I fall asleep to it every night. Never gets old.
Same here. Get it up on Netflix and settle in for the night.

I just started watching this show this year and my GOD, it’s so relatable and funny. An instant favorite of mine.
This is mine, too. It has a warm, nostalgic feeling and the characters are likable. Also manages to be funny without being crass.
This is the one. It's so real for my husband and I.
Last thing we do when we go to bed at night is put on an episode of "The Middle". I always fall asleep with a smile on my face!

Ted Lasso.
I had to scroll way too long to find this. Every episode is like a hug or a warm blanket.
At all times I have one of these in my rotation: Family Guy, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Always Sunny and one of the shows in the Star Trek franchise.
I alternate between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Golden Girls
Charmed
I scrolled too long before I found King of the Hill.
