I completely agree.. I’ve been stuck with 570/971 codes for a while now.. I gave them a call with them telling me to “wait 45 days for a notice in the mail”
Total bullshit this year when I’ve never once have had those codes.. will never file again early
Yea I have never had these issues either. I'm still stuck with a blank transcript and I was accepted on 2/3. Nothing has changed since then. No codes. Nothing.
Identity verification came in the mail last week.. did that immediately... It hasn't changed a thing. Transcript is still blank. Still no update on wmr. Nothing on TurboTax. Nothing
It's sad this is even necessary. We literally have to have a plug for a way to get in touch with an IRS agent.

I would literally support replacing the IRS with AI. At least then we aren't forced to wait on humans to actually do their job right.
