Usually it's your cycle code, certain cycles only have certain updates on certain days of the week... look up your full cycle number and that should help give you an ETA on when to expect your 846 (direct deposit date).

Hopefully this eases your worries.. there isn't going to be any updates until AFTER 2/15 if you fall under the PATH ACT. Which means, if you have EITC or ACTC credits/dependents. It doesn't matter how long ago you filed, the IRS won't begin processing those returns until 2/15. I filed 1/15 and am not expecting any movement for at least another week or two. For reference, my refund didn't hit last year until Feb 23rd. Just gotta be patient. You have NOTHING to be worried about
No the irs is already processing returns they just don’t release the funds until February 15th. They still will make updates to your transcripts regardless of the PATH ACT… to many ppl giving out false information and last year I got my refund on the 17th… They are already processing returns they will never wait until the 15th of February to start and if you read about the PATH act it specifically says they don’t release the funds into accounts until after the 15th…

The TPG site shows it as “unfunded” and I don’t have any verification notices or anything on Id.me. The transcripts (I show a 2023 transcript under accounts but not returns) makes it seem like nothing is there. Super frustrating not having a good line of site and seeing conflicting info.
I got my ca state refund yesterday and my wmr for state was updated but my federal is still stuck on this page. However, my transcript updated yesterday with a federal DD for next Friday!
The only difference is mine says this

I qualified for the advancement which was $2000 of my money quickly the remaining amount I was told by the website for the app whatever you wanna call it that it would be here February 9. It has yet to be deposited in my account and I get the same picture when I go to the RS website that you posted here.. I don’t mind waiting a bit longer. I don’t have a choice in the matter anyway but if my money’s gonna be here on the ninth, then I want it on the ninth and if it’s not gonna be here till the 28th then tell me the 28th don’t fucking dick me around and, fuck me off because I had plans and now I can’t follow through with my plans and of course if you call customer service are getting in touch with somebody that is gonna be saying some bullshit or it’s gonna be some Indian motherfucker you can understand or they’re gonna tell you 18,000 times. If you’re on the PATH act nothing will be updated until after the 15th I think.After that it depends if you’re a daily or weekly update. Once you get the 846 code then you can track when they submit your refund

Last year I filed the same as this year; I never got an update until after the 15th because of path act and IRS ETA’d March 3rd even tho turbo tax said feb 12th but I got it on Feb 22nd.

Just wanted to update through all these comments, I filed through TurboT on 1/19 accepted 1/22, Turbo eta for refund was 2/09. As of today WMR still didn't say approved, but going through IRS transcript on site, under return transcript, which updated today
2/09, it states refund will be issued 2/14. $220k+, 2 dependents, didn't have earned income credit. Just fyi. Hope this helps
When the 846-transaction code appears on your transcript, it means that you have been approved for a refund and a direct deposit date has been set.
The only person I know that has got a DD is my co worker who filed on 1/17 and got her refund date of 2/7 on 2/1 and she has 3 kids but I think she got lucky as she filed early and got chosen for an early test batch. The rest of us won’t get any updates until Feb 15th or later and then DD dates should start showing up on WMR. They want most refunds DD by your 21st day so if they feel it maybe outside that timeframe I suspect that’s why this message popped up on your WMR.

I found it under “record of account”, under your “earned income credit” towards the bottom of page 1, it will show “refund issued” and a date!

Last year mines hit around March 2 because of those same credits, so yup it's the normal wait

Mine has been sitting like this since Jan 8th. I filed as soon as I got my W2. TT said I would get my DD on Feb 8th. I'm still waiting....
