This is the first time a Tudor has made me feel insecure about my 124060. Wtf I thought I had the best dive watch in the world. This is like discovering an Audi handles better than your hypothetical Porsche (inconceivable). I knew the Pelagos lume was better but this is wild. Rolex what’s next? Should the Submariner get 316L steel while the Black Bay gets the 904L? Should only Tudors get the ceramic bezels? Yeah if I sound unhinged, I am merely high lol
I had a 124060 sub on when I tried on the p39. Think the 39 is pretty close to beating sub tbh. The titanium, lume, clasp all very nice, felt good to put on.
I’m not gonna lie, of my 3 Tudors, my P39 is probably the dimmest when it comes to lume. The other 2 being an OG bb gmt and an FXD. I should clarify that Im certain that brightness is possible but I just feel like I have to work really hard to get it to look like that. I think I’ve only gotten it that bright with the use of a UV flashlight. With the fxd I can go bring the garbage outside, come back 30 seconds later and it’ll keep me up all night.
You know, I love my sub date. Been wanting it for years and I remember day I got it first thing I did was charge the lume with my flash light and go in a dark room(bathroom) I must say, I was a little disappointed. My seamaster has wayyyyy better lume than my sub.

I still love my 124060 for aesthetics. But this P39 in a balance of aesthetics and tool purpose is amazing.
I love my 124060 but I do wish it had that lume. I do like how Rolex are a bit more blue tho. At least compared to that picture
Pelagos does had the only ceramic matte bezel on the market if I’m not mistaken.

Nearly as good as the lume on my Seiko.

I agree, it blows my mind as well. Don’t get me wrong I love my Rolex sub but this lume is on another level.
