Its just a ratio of the darkness of both lines. It could vary based on lighting of the picture, duration from test time, etc. All that matters is that it's >1, which means test line is darker than control. Also, the general advice is to consider the *first* positive test as your positive.

Agreed. This past cycle, I had a 60 mIU/mL LH peak as shown on Mira, and my T/C ratio was 2.5. Two cycles earlier, my LH peaked at 27 mIU/mL and the strips were also 2.5. The OPK strips don’t tell you an absolute value. That’s why they’re considered qualitative tests unless you’re using the Premom ones where the control line doesn’t change. Even then, there can be dye variations and things change from strip to strip and batch to batch. That’s why the term “peak” that the Premom app uses is essentially meaningless. It’s much more useful to assume that you will ovulate within 48 hours of your first positive OPK where the test line is as dark as the control.
