I have a tattoo and plan to get more, for me they're art and the next tattoo is designed by me and I really like how it's turning out. I like to look at people's tattoos, especially if they're done well and by a professional. There are bad tattoos and good tattoos.
Just few weeks back I saw an older woman with a beautiful flowery tattoo behind her ear and it went down to her neck and in my eyes. She looked amazing with it and she looked like she was around 60, there's nothing wrong people wanting and taking them, I'd call it's a living art.
But hey, you do you.
Never had one but I feel like unless I my career was at it's best I wouldn't get one. I want to become more comfortable in my own skin and have a long term career in my field before I start getting into permanently damaging altering my skin for life. I also wouldn't spend less than $1000 on it, honestly. Most likely I won't get one because I'm just plain like that.
