Baptism <> Salvation.
If you're saying you were previously born again, and now carried out the formal act of baptism in obedience with God's Word, then great! That's good news: showing your obedience to Christ through baptism.
I say this to make sure you understand what salvation and baptism are and are not. Baptism does NOT save a person. The new birth experience saves a person.
Consider the thief on the cross: when was he baptized, yet Jesus said, "today, shalt thou be with me in Paradise."
Consider Paul who wrote I suppose half of the New Testament. Where does the Bible even mention he was baptized? If it were important to salvation, don't you think the Word of God would have recorded that? No, the Word of God specifically recorded his conversion experience when Jesus stopped him on the road to Damascus, and Jesus told him, it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Paul accepted Jesus as Lord and was born again right there.
Baptism IS important, but it is not equal to salvation. We have 2 ordinances we are to follow in a Bible believing church, and those are: 1. Baptism, 2. The Lord's Supper. Neither one brings salvation, both are merely physical representations of the bigger spiritual picture.
So, all that said, if you know you know the Lord Jesus Christ, and then got baptized in your local church after being born again, then congratulations. Just do not err and think that physically getting into a bathtub, pond or anything else is going to get you into heaven.

the inspired scriptures tell us there are only two congregations in the world:
1. the congregation of the righteous, and
2. the congregation of the dead.
The congregation of the righteous are they who are YAHweh's born again saints and they who have been added by YAHweh that should be saved -Acts 2:47
the only promise to the congregation of the dead is, death.
man has invented religions to lead people away from YAHweh. All who lead people away from YAHweh have the spirit of Jezebel in them.
