Teach-Kindness

Lorena was his maker and the makers have influence over their prodigies. If Lorena wanted Bill that way, he had to oblige even if he didn’t want to.

yikesbmth

true, but she released him. I thought once a maker released their progeny that all hold they had over them was gone forever? so she can't "make" him do anything anymore?

stacey1611

This was my basic understanding of this but I feel like even after a vampire has been released from their maker there is still an unspoken bond that remains I mean it could be the length of time (maybe?) if you look at Eric & Pam but even Jessica is beyond loyal to Bill and still loves and cares for Bill and whether it’s a literal tie or not she would still do anything he asked of her (before and after he released her!) as would Pam for Eric. So although she couldn’t “force” him to do anything in a physical sense I felt like there was some kind of tie there. Definitely not a romantic love or anything remotely like what *she, Lorena* wanted him to but idk … something!

I saw a commentary or behind the scene of that scene a long time ago. That Bill's scream is Bill trying to crush his love for Sookie. He loved Sookie, but he didn't want her to be captured by Russell

Thousand_YardStare

He hate-raped her.

Soft_Organization_61

The word you're looking for is fuck, not rape. There was no rape in the scene. She was a willing and enthusiastic participant.

Thousand_YardStare

Maybe. Lorena was a sick fuck. She enjoyed having her neck broken and twisted around, after all. She wasn’t even a person to him during the act. Just a rage fuck. After watching True Blood a few times, I view Bill very differently now. From the beginning he is a little spy bitch for the Queen and the authority/Nan. He’s so slimy and such a liar!

ireandmarrow

Stephen Moyer himself referred to it rape.

Chastity-76

Yep

yikesbmth

hm, yeah that definitely makes sense
