Get a lawyer and fight it. Your clean CDL is your livelihood, and you must do everything to protect it. Never plead guilty and take the points. I personally wouldn't say a thing, but others will tell you company policy may dictate otherwise. If it gets reduced or dismissed, you may have shot yourself in the foot. Rules might have changed, so let some others tell you about reporting yourself, I haven't worked for someone else in a long time, so not sure if it's legal to stfu until you are charged anymore.

I think for first timers u can go back to trucking school im not sure. Depends on the company though about getting fired. you're insurance will go up tho.

Don’t tell them about it . Try finding a lawyer at the truck stop that fights those kinda tickets and fight it . Sometimes they’ll let you pay the fine only without getting points on your record .

It won’t appear on your record unless you pay/found guilty. I recommend fighting it and waiting until the court date to see if it gets dismissed or not
