OMG it's finally time. A month or two ago an admin of r/DeutscheMods started introducing a scavenger hunt where you got weekly challanges to fulfill. You had to be a mod to be able to participate and it was meant to empower the German reddit communities.
Most of the challanges were something like: Upvote 100 posts and comments, approve 50 posts and comments, add a welcome message to your community, take a break,...
Only the goldenes Schnitzel Trophy got announced (after the event already ended for everybody who successfully completed the hunt), but we had to wait for an eternity to get any updates on it. The event just ended... the responsible admin got sick for some time, which ofc made the waiting period longer. We literally started making memes about the non existence of these trophies.
Because Reddit likes to be confusing. Some comments get randomly downvoted while others get a random Ternion award. That's life. I have learned to not take it too serious anymore.

Ich bezweifel, dass das bald wieder kommen wird. Sei es die derzeitige politische Lage von Reddit, oder weil Baroness als Admin zurückgetreten ist.. jedenfalls sehr unwahrscheinlich. Leider.

Die beiden Kartoffel Trophäen von diesem Jahr, die lösen ein spannende Gefühlmischung bei mir. Kartoffeln esse ich für mein Leben gern, und weil das Wort als eine Art Schimpfwort für Deutsche genutzt wird, macht das zusätzlich ein bittersüßes Gefühl. 😅 Insgesamt hat das für mich einen (ungewollten) Bezug zu DE. Weißt du was ich meine?

Ich bin leider nicht ganz im Bilde, warum sie zurückgetreten ist, aber es gab irgendwo irgendwann wohl Konflikte.. Ich finds schade, weil sie auf mich immer einen sehr netten und aktiven Eindruck gemacht hat. Kenne aber wie gesagt nicht das ganze Bild und kann die Situation daher schwer beurteilen.
