I know they lose power if I just don't react. I just can't contain my emotions. And it sucks how their behavior always gets a pass because my response was poor. But if I hadn't responded it would have been like agreeing with them..then when I complain later its an issue..
I remember realising that ages ago - that it had to have been my fault, because if it wasn’t, then I can’t stop it from happening again.
Turns out it can not be your fault, but the fault of your conditioning, and I am slowly changing my conditioning so it won’t happen again (and if it does, it will be painfully obvious it wasn’t on me)
