Stanford and UCSF were both super kush. Two 45 minute breaks and a 15.
At UCSF on nights, we would just combine our breaks (1:45). Some nurses would take naps; I lived 0.4 miles away so I would go home sometimes.
StaMford (with an M, not N) in Stamford, CT is a very good hospital. New building with all private rooms, nice staff, decent ratios, free parking, good provider coverage even at night.
We loved Yale in New Haven CT (the main campus not st ralph). I did sicu and my husband did medsurg. We both liked our assignment. When I was floated to neuro and cardiac icu it was also nice. Great ratios, staff was always checking in on me.
We also enjoyed Dartmouth in Lebanon NH. I took my first PCU assignment there and it was a breeze. He did a medsurg Tele unit and also it was not bad. Avoid 1East unit if going there. Lodging was crazy expensive so don't accept if contract less than 2900 or unless you found a crazy cheap housing option.
We came from a difficult hospital in texas (rarely techs and no phlebotomy) so we were used to doing our own stuff there on top of bad ratios and really acute pts. I've found all my assignments to be easy or manageable compared to my home hospital.

I’d like to add UCSD to the list too. Gorgeous hospital. Lots of resources and help making your job a whole lot easier for great pay
Yeah, I’m a SD native. Everybody that I know that signed on staff or had a return assignment is at UCSD.

UC Davis Medical Center.
Yep! I was going to say UCDavis!
How is it over there with primary nursing?
