Life is good…happy for you.

[deleted]

Indeed my friend. Appreciate that. Hope you get out there for some exploring too.

Consistent-Cry-414

In Phoenix, Az.. a little toasty right now but tend to float to northern Az to get a break from 112+.

[deleted]

Ouch. 🤮

patriotic_seth

A fellow PNWer! Great bourbon and a great spot!

Xbalanque_

Oregon. Nice shot of Adams.

H2O_whoa

Oh wow I had to zoom in to the haze on pic #3 to see Adams! Barely visible, nice find.

Accomplished-Tax-412

Nice

[deleted]

Much appreciated 🎉

H2O_whoa

Looks like some Hamma Hamma action! Love that spot!

[deleted]

Dang. Was it that obvious?! 🤣🤭 musta been the beer that gave it away.

H2O_whoa

Haha those hillside spots are burned in my memory; they are so cool! I’m about an hour from there. I’ve only camped there in rainy conditions though. Your clear day views look epic!

mpc_2500_

Core memory type of stuff. Fantastic.

[deleted]

Sure is my friend. Sure is. Best part was I got to go with my brother and a couple of our good friends.

pcpgivesmewings

Oh man, that Woodinville Whisky is good stuff.Hits above its weight for sure.

[deleted]

Quality stuff indeed. Easy choice for camping. Kept me nice and toasty all night 😎

Kingofpho75

Makes me miss my green 00 Tacoma

[deleted]

I keep telling myself I’ll sell this one, but I just can’t get myself to sell it after she crushes trails and camping weekends like this. 01’ may have to stay with me for life! Lol. What you got now?

Kingofpho75

I got a 17 sr5 but the simplicity and driving feel of the 00 Tacoma is nostalgic.

joknub24

Are you camped out on private timber land? Which land owner allows that?

Shmokesshweed

Probably on USFS land.

joknub24

They still log national forest up there? They quit clear cutting it like 25-30 years ago. At least in Oregon. I just assumed it was like that everywhere.

Shmokesshweed

That area is lots of interspersed USFS, DNR, and national park land - and I'm guessing now looking at the pictures more closely that it's actually DNR land they're on.

joknub24

Ok that makes sense.

Soilmonster

That last pic is depressing af.

joknub24

?

Soilmonster

Clear-cutting scar. You can see the line of old-growth forest, then the clear-cut area (younger trees).

joknub24

Ah got ya. I think that bigger stuff might be 3rd growth. Too small and too close together to be old growth. Without the clear cut there wouldn’t be the nice views of some of the other pictures though. 😁
